Olympia Hills Golf Course

They definitely need to space out the tee times because this Friday was way over crowded. They ran out of carts so plenty of people were complaining they had to walk down to the practice area.

Carts were not being delivered until 5 min after supposed tee time.

When you did start playing it was a hit & wait fbecause there were 3 groups on each hole.

2 playing partners had never played here & they will never come back because it took 45 min to play the first 2 holes.

The greens were so over watered that balls were cratering upon landing and there were spike marks and ball marks all over every green. They were mushy and slow. The greens definitely need to be re-done; there are weeds growing on every single one. Cart girl only passed by twice the whole round.

There was also a wedding so we had to drive reverse upon ending and disturbed every group we passed plus added more time to our 5+ hour round. There needs to be major changes.

We were following a group of 3 that waits for the players infront of to leave the green before hitting their drives on a par 4 when they can’t even hit the 150 yards marker..and yet they don’t even let us (2 players) to pass through them.They do more talking than playing.

Got paired up with 3 other blokes. The other two's cart kept stopping because the gps mapping was off and I think it affected one guys game because he became irate and started throwing clubs.

Course did have some pretty holes but I am not a fan of all the blind shots and bunkers. They try to take the driver out of your hand on most holes. The blind shots are dangerous and some idiot actually hit a ball that richochted off of our inside the cart.

The other problem was the greens were too shaggy and the ball was not rolling out very well. I came out wanting to shoot a good number but I left so many putts short due to those thick, soft greens.

It was fun but I'll probably never play it again because its a long ways off and I dont care for the layout.

Greens were okay little patchy with crabgrass (?). Course was in good shapes

Greens were better than in the past… great course for the price..

My tee time was for 1:20 PM but did not tee off until 1:35. Most of the greens were rough and need work.

The pace of play was very slow and did not see a marshall trying to speed up play

The greens were absolutely horrible at the start of the summer. They have mostly filled back in but several are still pretty rough and have a lot of crab grass. Management definitely needs to put more work into the greens before next season.

Well kept, great greens, fairways got plenty grass as we get into the fall season.

I was disappointed in the fact that the course had a lot of garbage from the people throwing their beer cans and garbage on the course.

The fact that they did not have someone picking up the garbage and also that those using the course had little respect for the others was disappointing.

Given the hot and dry summer we had the course was in good condition. The first green and a couple of others had an invasive weed growing, but most of the greens were in good condition. The greens were slow however. The traps need work, the sand was thin in most of them. Fairways were generally ok.

The course layout has some great holes with big elevation changes on the first 11 holes. The price is good, so the value for the money is decent.

This is the second time in a row I did not finish the round because of slow play. This is one of the worst courses we play for this issue...don't think they even have a marshal that tracks play times...

Play was well organized w/o a wait on a Saturday afternoon. Starter was great. Food at the turn took longer than expected since we ordered wraps, but the hot dogs were a much quicker option.

Had a great time with some local people, greens were a slow but overall nice course 👍
