Olympia Hills Golf Course

Extremely disappointing for the $70 rate. Good pace of play, course conditions were very poor. Greens need a lot of work. To make matters worse, we were paired with someone who attempted to use playing on the course as their first experience playing golf, rather than going to the range until such time that you can confidently make contact with the ball. Several swings where he completely missed the ball altogether. Our twosome ended up, leaving after nine given the course conditions, and having to play with golfers that clearly was the first time they picked up golf clubs. Given the considerable play golf courses are receiving now, there are some like this course that have not reinvested in the course, disappointing!

Fairways are solid even with the heat wave in Texas. Almost all greens are in solid shape, just a few with dead spots and weeds. There’s a few White/Black tee boxes that are roasted. Overall great shape for great price. Would highly recommend.

Front side greens need a complete redo. Back side in pretty good shape.

Great layout with tough narrow front nine and more links style on back nine!

People were very friendly and the course was great and the fariway and greens were in pretty good shape and i had a enjoyable round and would play there again.

When you drive from Houston to San Antonio to play golf you hope to find something different. Olympia Hills was definitely different. The undulations of each fairway and elevate tee boxes made the course challenging and fun at the same time. The par threes were rather beautiful - there is nothing like teeing off 60ft or ore above your target.

My son's ball rolled into the trees and we almost stepped on two sleeping deer.

Only negative criticism would be the greens needed help. It was difficult read each put as your ball was too effected by all dead spots.

Tee times need to spread further apart. We had an early tee time and right after we got done teeing off the Marshall insisted that we needed to hurry and keep with pace of play. This made our group feel rushed all day long.

This course is too expensive given the condition of the greens. The rest of the course is in great shape. The poor greens plus the high cost makes this an easy pass

This is a good course and challenging. The greens many were in poor shape with bald patches and uneven with invasive grass dpecies. With good maintenance this could be 4.5 stars.
