About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Not ideal...
I've played Olympia Hills plenty of times but this is the worst condition I have seen the course in. The greens have dead patches and the they were extremely bumpy. Also, every tee box was hard as a rock. I know it is hot and dry in Texas right now, so it is too be expected but it is not ideal to play at this time.

The course is good I’ve played there before it was my first Time to reserve a tee time through GolfNow but I had to cancel because I had a medical issue
Great fairways, recovering greens!
Fairways were in great condition, especially considering Texas heat. Greens were punched recently and are recovering nicely. Lots of really fun holes, a few weird holes. Long par 3’s. Few areas where you can’t see your landing area.
Overall great value and lots of fun. I’ll be back soon!
Beautiful Hill Country Course
The course is a very scenic course with ample wildlife to distract you from your bad shots or scores.
Unfortunately, the current Texas heat has taken its toll on the course and the greens are in bad need of repair. I would check with the pro shop before playing again or look at others reviews to get information.
Great except the greens
Love the course and layout, but greens where in bad shape. Was disappointed.
Course fairways were in really good shape, the greens on the hand were horrible. Probably the worst I’ve seen from Olympia hills in a few years.

Course was so out of shape. Especially the greens. Man they were bad. The only good thing was Jo the super hot friendly bartender. Won't be back for a while.
Don’t waste your time or money
The greens are DEAD. Tee boxes are nonexistent on Par 3s.

Course was in good shape considering the lack of rain. Staff is always helpful
Not a great experience
Pace of play was over 5 1/2hrs and the greens were in horrible shape.
Hidden Gem
One of my favorite courses to play in SA. Great value, beautiful layout and challenging. Some greens were hurt by a little bit of fungus but overall they rolled great. Highly recommend Olympia Hills.

course conditions are fairly good except for the greens, too many bare spots sometimes almost half the green
