About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Fairways were perfect, greens are not back just yet
Greens
Clean up the greens! All these holes on greens causing ball roll speed to be erratic and jumpy. Not cool!
Almost There
This course is almost the perfect little hidden gem! Beautiful and fair course! Not long but you have to know where to leave the ball in order to make you next shot less painful. The only sore thumb is the GREENS!!! I've seen them when they are true and beautiful. Right now is the worst shape I've ever seen them! Takes what would be a great round and make it just nice cause you can't get a good gauge or roll which is frustrating even for a hacker like myself! Other than that always a fun round
Played today
The greens are not good just aerated. They should have let customers know about it. Impossible to putt on. Course layout is good. Staff not very nice or helpful. Started was good.
Discount applied because greens are being aeriated. GPS still doesn't work on cart till at least fourth hole.
Challenging but fair
Excellent design, in great condition after the rain. Lots of bunkers with good sand (players are not raking after use) aerated greens. GPS is a plus but has no green view feature to locate pin. A wonderful day of golf.
Fun Course
My group from out of town found Olympia Hills to be a fun challenge. The greens were a little bumpy due to the season but the course received great reviews from my fellow players on bang for the buck.
Good layout but greens in rough shape
Challenging course but greens were in poor shape. A group of 6 slowed pace of play. Why allow a group of 6??
Disappointed
Looked forward to playing the course this Sunday morning (new in town and only my 3rd time there). My group of 3 get to #2 tee-box and there’s a 5-some on the tee. Not only does one in the group not have his own clubs, he jumps on the back of one of the carts to get to each shot around the entire course. And of course, they wouldn’t let us play through. The fact that no Marshall engaged this group the entire day amazed me, but I think what really bothered me was the starter would even allow a group of 5 out on a Sunday morning in the first place. Very disappointing!
Greens
I don’t know if the freeze or pandemic has any bearing on the greens condition but were not in very good condition. Putting was rough
