Olympia Hills Golf Course
About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Great Day at Olympia Hills
Great way to spend part of the 4th of July weekend…with family and a challenging curse at Oly Hills!
Not bad overall
For the price I’d say it’s definitely worth it. Can usually get on for $30 day of. The course itself has a resort style feel to it. Only complaints would be their greens are terrible. Front nine greens are unplayable, but does get better on the back. They also do tee times every 10 min so the weekends can get hectic. They also allow you to tee off whenever you’re ready to go regardless of tee time. Somewhat challenging course, worth the price.
Great Course
Course was in great shape, some greens needed work and had patches that were bad, but not all of them..
Awesome track
This is a awesome course! I wouldn't have any problems playing it everyday too. Pace was slow because of a tournament. Once they finished, we could move quickly again. Great scenery, & value for a muni track. My wife & I will definitely be back.
Great condition
Course is in A+ condition tee to green. A few greens need some work in places but putt fast and true.
Elevating the game and my blood pressure!
For cost, conditions, and convenience Olympia Hills is without a doubt the best course I’ve played at in San Antonio. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in pretty good condition with only a couple spotty areas. The staff was very friendly from the pro shop attendant checking me in and giving me the breakdown to to the starter being prompt about my tee time and super friendly when I was warming up. The course was not packed at all so my pace of play experience was really enjoyable. The reason why it raised my blood pressure is because of the hills and elevations this course had. They were very challenging and definitely had me reconsidering my life chooses and play style to be able to survive this course haha. Overall my experience was awesome and I highly recommend this course to any golfer who’s looking for a good challenge! I will be visiting this course again real soon to settle the score!
Pace of play
I always enjoy playing this course, but today not so much. Tee times were stacked with multiple 5 player groups in front of my 3 man group. There were multiple holes were 2 or more groups were waiting to tee off on the same hole. It took 5 hours just to play a round of golf.
Wow
You’re not gonna do much better than this course. Beautiful course with a few extremely unique holes. Staff is super friendly. This place is a gem!
Visiting San Antonio?
The perfect place to golf while you wait on your hotel check-in time.
Fun course
The course was in much better shape versus past visits. The recent rains have definitely impacted how green it was.
Decent
Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Greens are dry and bumpy, but overall, not bad.
