Course in fantastic shape, greens true, quick and challenging. Fairways are super, definitely recommend!!

Played in January and was pleased with the fairways over seeded with winter rye. Hole layout was well thought out and challenging due to the rolling terrain. Multiple tees to accommodate all skill levels. Two thumb up.

Course in good condition. You have to get out early for a decent pace of play. Expect 5 hours plus in afternoon.

This course is a great value. The fairways and t-boxes are over seeded for winter. The greens need to be mowed and rolled but they are still good and roll true, just slow.

Staff is friendly and courteous.

The problem with the grill is that they don't sell liquor but they won't let you bring in your own alcohol even though in Texas it is legal to BYOB to a place that only sells beer and wine.

Great layout and in really good shape. There were workers on the course at the time but they were friendly. The only thing is we missed holes # 5 &6 due to poor signage. Caused confusion but it was too late by the time we found out. Please make signage more clear. Overall one of my favorites in the area!

Great course for a good weekend price near Austin.

And I lost 6 balls.. in the water, trees, bushes, crevices… but for the price of $38 it was a great day to practice.

Cart: bring your own tees, water and towel. No gps

Bunkers: actually sand!

Bathrooms: as a woman there is only one in the clubhouse at the turn to 10… not good..

Tees, fairways, greens: need work but I was fine with it bc I paid so little.

I recommend if you want to practice- completely worth it!

First time I play at Shadow Glen and the fairways were fantastic. Course is challenging enough but this being my first time there were some holes where I didn't know the landscape. On a couple of holes the greens were hard to see after the first shot. Greens were slow due to new sand on the greens. I will go back in the spring.

Fairways were lush, therefore played longer than anticipated . Enjoyed the layout and the company!

The fairways are over 2 inches high. The greens are slow sandy with sprigs of grass. The layout of the course is good and staff is very friendly.Not for the better gofer good luck making a putt. tee off at 2 did not finish 14 holes.

Great, challenging course. Played the bronze, likely played about 300 yards longer than card. Very little roll on the fairways because they were lush and likely haven’t been cut for some time. Greens were a little sandy but nothing that caused putts to jump offline. A little tricky to read, but that made the challenge. Last par 5 on back was an absolute beast, into the wind, with blind approach. Not quite sure I could figure out how to play in 5 rounds. If you avoid bunkers, you are alright. Staff very friendly and welcoming. 74 degrees on 12/22, seriously nice! Can’t wait to play again when fairways are cut and firmer.

So, first off, I got a deal time AND had a promo code so I only paid about $20. Now, for that price, I feel like it was a fair deal. But, had I paid what looks to be their regular price (~$50) I would've been very annoyed and unimpressed. Course was in decent shape and had a decent layout but was otherwise pretty average. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you can get a deal time or you have a good promo code, I would recommend it if you're just trying to get out and play some golf.

The course has improved greatly over the past few years. It has become one of my favorites. Very challanging and in great condition.
