Nice course, but I would expect a lot more for the price of $70. Fairways needed to be cut. Greens weren’t in the best of shape . These two issues can easily be fixed but I will not play again for that price this course is nice at $45 but not any higher.

The greens and tee boxes were in great shape for late November. The course was pretty wet from rain a few days earlier. Pace of played seemed slow, we waited on every hole, but we finished 18 in 4.25 hours so that's not too bad. Overall I will come and play again.

Loved the course. Good pace on the greens and fairways are beautiful.

I liked the layout with the hills and changes in elevation. It offered risk reward shot making. The course was in great shape. I think it was one of the better conditioned courses in the area. The greens were in really nice condition. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating as I told them it was my first time playing there. I will be back!

The course is a brilliant one. It's perfectly playable with pretty wide fairways and many quirks to keep you entertained all the way round. The complexity of the holes here regularly comes at the greens with some wonderful bunkering, intricate run-offs and undulations. While that will undoubtedly separate the strong players from the weak, it does so without humiliating anyone too early or punishing them too brutally.

Every tee box was a disaster. The fairways hadn't been cut in weeks. The course was soaked! Puddles everywhere, and it hasn't rained in over a week. The course is just so poorly maintained, it was not worth the price. I've never seen fairways this bad. Every shot on the fairway was playing a club up because the grass was so thick.

Played the course on Monday and what a course

From arriving was greeted by the cheery professional in the pro shop who set us on our way. Althoogh very challenging at times we had a fabulous time, the course was immaculate. Quite hilly at times, but that's where th buggie comes in handy. Sent pics to my da and he canny believe the views.

A good pub, friendly, efficient staff, good pub grub., reasonably priced. Even a telly on the courtyard

Had a nice round at Shadow Glen. Very good conditions overall on a windy day. Course in nice shape and after we played around a group, we finished 18 in just over 3:15.

Course was recently overseeded but they failed to mow their course before the heavy rains came through. The fairways were 2-3 inches long and there was standing puddles 3-4 days after it rained. Some of the greens were even partially mowed. I walked with another 2-some that played so slow it took us 2 1/2 hours without waiting to play the front 9. I ended up leaving at the turn.

The fairway was mowed but had grass clumps were everywhere. Also many tee box were not mowed. This course is challenging enough with natural hazards. Do not need added troubles.

The fairways and green were shaggy, Nearly lost a ball in the middle of the fairway. Recent over seeding was the explanation. I enjoyed the layout though. Hopefully will give the course another crack.

I’ve played here twice now - they have overseeded meaning the tee boxes are hairy and the greens are very slow, probably like everywhere at the minute.

They actually have marshals on the course and the players here play pretty quick, at least in the early morning.

I had a cart waiting for me as soon as I got out of my car - classy touch.

Hoping the greens pick up some speed soon!

For the price paid, would have expected the course to be in better condition. It had been overseeded everywhere so tall grass from tee boxes to greens. It was was so overwatered there were puddles and mud everywhere and it was cart path only. Would have been nice to know about this before booking because conditions were so poor we ended up just playing 9 holes.

Course was a little wet and the fairways a little "fuzzy" but very enjoya ble to play. Pace of play could have been better but there were several marshalls on the course to help move players along. Would recommend.
