About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Good for the koney
Staff/starter was very friendly and kept ypu informed of when to tee off. As its winter/soring here so there were areas that were not as lush or perhaps not in great condition. But great course to work on short game. We definitely will be going back
Declining
Some of the greens are suffering from bare spots and the normally lush fairways are not as green as in the past.
I did however shoot my best score ever on the course with a 68
Lakewood Golf
Fairways were quack grass, thin and ball would pickup dirt/mud with any height. Greens were small and fast. Had to try to bounce ball onto the green, green would not hold with even a high approach shot. The lady inside was very nice and friendly.

Mostly par-3’s; great course to ease into golfing.

Good no stress course
Right course if you want a lot of fun. Good value for the money. Only bad part is I wish they take extra care maintaining the course, particularly the T off areas and green.
Poor pro shop accommodations
Pro staff was supper rude and and not accommodating. Due to this I would bit play again.
