Course in great shape,greens are perfect. SLOW play
I have played colusa lakes 20 or more times and the only issue I have here is Slow play. Yesterday was another slow play. The marshal came by while 4 different groups waiting to play the 9 th hole. I asked if we could just skip the 9th and go to the back 9. He said no but did nothing to move the slow group along so what's the point of being a marshall?? Too bad this course doesn't act and move the slow groups along as we all pay to play the course. 5 hour rounds are not any fun.

This course was the best condition for value I played the high season.
Fairways very generous.
Conditions couldn't get much better. You'll enjoy playing here.

These Greens are the Best I've play in the last two years!!! Excellent.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon, the staff is almost over friendly.

Had a great time, and the course is in great shape!
Calusa Lakes is a gem!!
Calusa Lakes was probably in the finest shape of any course we played in the last three weeks! Tee to Greens were in fantastic shape. Greens were rolling 11 accomplished Greens keeper and I would believe it. They rolled true as well. Need to be careful on approach shots, if you don’t really spin the ball, the hard bounce will send you.
Clubhouse food was great as well. They had a cart girl and it was well stocked.
Definitely will play there again!
A course worth playing
I arrived at the course and was greeted by staff who took my clubs to the cart for me. I was greeted by the club pro who knew me by name and advised that I was good to go and paired me with players of similar caliber. We were even able to go slightly earlier than our scheduled tee time. The course was in great shape, greens rolled reasonably fast and true. We played in 3.5 hours. it was a great day.
Good Afternoon Value
while we would probably never pay morning rates, we were pleased with the afternoon fees. Course was in great shape, including tees. Front nine was very slow (stuck behind 2 foursomes that had a large gap in front of them), so perhaps a push from a ranger would have been nice, but the 2 groups only played 9 holes, so we were able to finish 18 with a few minutes of daylight left (which we never thought possible at the turn)
