Great finish...
Played the course many times and enjoy it...the condition of the course is the best I've seen in 20 years. The management was very pleasant and helpful and assisted in some very slow play...after that was corrected our last 12 holes were excellent!
Best venice golf
Of the 4 venice courses everyone plays, this one is the best. In fantastic shape!
Pace of play
Can"t really enjoy yourself when you wait on every shot. Course needs to control slow play. Move slow players along!!! Ask them to let people play through.

Course was in great shape. Exceptional greens. Friendly professional staff.

Some of the best greens I’ve been on in a while.
You can make the course as demanding as you want based on your tee box selection. not the same old cookie cutter back-and-forth layout if I can get a teatime tomorrow, I may start developing a cough at work this afternoon.

It was a beautiful day on a beautiful course
It was a little tight with a lot of unseen water hazards, but overall course was an amazing shape
The greens were nice and putted well.
The driving range is a lake with floating target unfortunately can’t hit anything over 180 yards. Putting Green was nice as well. That’s about it for practice facilities.
Something I’ve never seen before you can’t actually have your golf cart until your teatime I guess because as I said earlier, it’s a little tight and hasn’t got a lot of room for the golf carts to move around.
Had a great time we’ll play it again.
It’s the “BEST”
From tee to the green you won’t be able to find a better course in our 75 mile area.. Kudos to the superintendent and his staff for having the best greens possible..Enjoy a round at Calusa Lakes!
Nice Course
In spite of the drought we’re having, this course is in very good shape. The greens are in great condition as are the tee boxes. It’s hard to say the course is a great value at $150, but in comparison to other courses, it’s probably as good a value as you’ll find.
Nice Course
Calusa Lakes is definitely a gem, best greens I’ve played all year, however I recommend staying below the hole as most greens are downhill. Staff was great, fairway’s were in great shape, and my guests really enjoyed the course.
One of the best
Great course in excellent conditions. Greens were very fast but immaculate. Stay below the hole!
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and runs a very efficient operation. Nice driving range with fair pricing for practice balls. No GPS on carts so bring your course app. Fun, interesting course with plenty of alligators for photos. Probably my favorite course to play but at $140 prime time it is pricey but not too out of line with others in the area.
Excellent condition BUT Pace of play was Not Good!!
I really enjoyed tbe course layout and it was in excellent condition. However, the first 9 holes took 2:40 to play. In addition, we never saw a course ranger the entire day. We started at 2 pm and luckily pretty much all of the groups in front of us quit after 9 holes. We played the back 9 in 1:40 and finished just before dark. I would play again but they defintely need to address the pace of play and how they stack the tee times.
