Area’s Best!
One of Venice’s best golf course. When you drive into the parking lot you are greeted with the person in the golf buggy to take your clubs! After checking in at the pro shop the starter will let you know who you follow! Every staff member is very cordial and informative. Once you are let go to play, you are at the first tee.. Just looking out at the beautiful fairway on the par five you know you are in for a treat! New owners are getting a handle on this golf course right away. New sod being installed around certain areas, traps are very playable, and the greens are tremendous! Very puttable. Enjoy your day @ Calusa Lakes…
Excellent conditions
Really enjoyed this course. Greens were in pristine condition and fairways wear excellent as well. Driving range is limited in distance so you may not be able to hit driver if you can fly the ball 200 yards but on the other hand there is a sand trap in the practice area. How many public course offer that?
Great course
The course is private club quality sand bunkers are awesome. I would use a little sand up on lips of bunkers. Otherwise Excellent. Staff very helpful.
Extremely slow round
The course is drying out and conditions have fallen off since 2 weeks ago. Also, our round was over 5 hours.

Course was ok, greens slow and not true. Staff could use some training with friendliness.
Great Day
My wife and had a great time. Tee time 2:21 played in 3.5 hrs as a twosome. Course was in good shape, greens excellent,bunkers good. Nice course for couples or anyone looking for a fair but challenging course.

Amazing course..greens were in PGA condition..Ive already recommended several people..best course in Venice..possibly the whole area! Go Play!
Quality
First time playing the course, hope to be back.
Some rough patches on a few fairways but overall ,good conditions.
The greens were excellent. And quick.
For the price, complimentary range balls should be included.
We were behind a slow 4 some, a ranger appeared on a couple of holes into the back and sped them up.
Good playing course
Challenging course would like another try now having learned better shot placement.. definitely raised the water level on many holes and lowered the sand in quite a few traps…j hi
Greens were in great shape
Enjoyed the round and would recommend . Fairways narrow as the course weaves through the neighborhood. New ownership is pumping a lot of upgrades into the course one of the members we played with told us . The greens were in great condition. Not one brown spot or divot and rolled true. Fairway conditions brown in some areas but it’s been fairly dry this winter. Simple clubhouse with cafe style restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.
