El Rio Golf Course in Fort Myers is a player-friendly layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Hidden gem...
What a great course to work on your short game. This place is a hidden gem, did not expect to find the course in such great condition. Had a great time and played with a great bunch of guy's from North Carolina. I highly recommend, I will be playing this course again.
Nice executive course
Very busy. Short on golf carts. Front nine played at pace. Back nine backed up two to three foursomes at one point. Would play the course again.
Nice conditions for this exec course, but wear a helmet!
Very good price to play this small, tight layout. Greens and fairways in good condition.
My concern is that the layout is such that playing there is accompanied by errant golf balls falling close to other players frequently, I have never seen a more dangerous course in that regard.
Disappointed
The course looked fine as we pulled up but the conditions were not very good. We had a bit of rain about four hours before our tee off. The fairways had a lot of bald patches and muddy areas which may be caused by poor drainage. Cart paths were all dirt and mud puddles. If you just wanted to swing your clubs for some target practice then go ahead but I wouldn't recommend if you want to play a decent round. For a short course the pace of play was pretty bad we sat at most tee boxes behind two groups sometimes three. Most short courses you should be able to finish in three hours or less. My wife and I called it quits after 3 1/2 hours and we were still at the 13th hole. Really the only positive was the cold beverage when we return the cart.
Sorry but it really was a let down.
Nice Executive Course with Lovely Greens
Have played this course many times in the past 3 years. The greens are in excellent condition and it's a fun executive course with a few challenging holes. The course is fun to play!

Friendly staff; nice layout, excellent for short game practice. Greens were all in excellent condition. Able to play in around 2 hours. Great deal on GolfNow. Will play this course again.

Okay course
We enjoyed our golf here, it is mostly par 3's with some par 4's as well. Not much a a club house, there is a putting green and driving range. Good for your short game.

Excellent executive course
Plays well in summer. Staff was nice and honored the Golf Now Special. Was very hot day but they had plenty of ice water on course.
Not a piece of cakel
A course that is a challenge with greens that are sloped and pitched enough to add that extra bit of difficulty
Great condition
For mid-May, in semi-drought conditions, the fairways and greens are in great shape! We have enjoyed playing this short, but challenging course and will go back soon, and the price is certainly right!

I played this course for the third time in a few years, the weather was hot, not many playing this afternoon, good value for 12 per round.
