Lake Diamond
Found out course was not associated with Lake Diamond resort. Nice layout but course was rough. Very bumpy cart paths and some bare tee boxes. Told the owner didn't really care about maintenance of the course. Will not return.
Nice Condition
We play here fairly often. There are a few burned out spots on the greens but overall the course is in good condition. The back 9 is in very good condition and is the most fun to play. This course offers a good challenge to any golfer.
A little rough around the edges. Weather plays a role also. Still a very challenging track. Humbling to say the least. Greens rolling nice. Want a challenge give it a try. Diamond wins most of the time.
Love this golf course!
Staff is always friendly. The course is in great shape.
Great course
Nice layout. Greens are great . fairways need a little attention due to crab grass. The pro was fantastic. Will be back. Will be back.
Told to pick up oace
Was told on ninth hole to pick the pace ??? Thought 2 hours pace of play was acceptable? Here's a thought for your staff don't put a group playing best ball and shooting from the ladies and super senior tees out 5 minutes behind us they were dropping shots on us all morning and then when not happy about my pace decide to yell at each other from tee box and fairway behind us we walked off course and left after 9 holes never going back again there's a $65 lesson learned on where NOT TO PLAY GOLF AT !
Good Value
In all honestly the course deserves 3.5 stars but Yelp won't let me put that. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because of the service. Some members of the staff were nice, but some seemed like they had a long day and were a little tired and it affected their customer service. The course has a good range from the forward kids tees to the back tees. The fairways and tee boxes are very nice. The greens are a little slow and could use some work. All the summer rain should help. The front and back nines are very different. The front nine plays with wide open fairways with one hole having water. There are some young pine trees but nothing to really worry about. The back nine is tree lined and there is a significant amount of water from holes 10- 14. The pro shop is basic but nice. There is a bathroom on the course and water station on each nine. I payed a good rate of 42 dollars with a GroupGolfer deal online. It included 18 holes, a cart, and a small bucket of range balls. But everyday rates are around 28 dollars with some special deals going as low as 14 dollars. Overall a fun course that I will defiantly play again.
lake diamond
was very hot. course fairways were a little dry sometimes needed to move ball for grass other than that good but very hot. glad to see drinking water on the course. good round
Good day out
got to go out with my wife while on vacation, course was in great shape. Got out before the rain came in ,great day.
Tough track as usual. Must be on your game. Tight driving especially on back. Small greens make it tough also. Greens roll good. Overall great golf challenge. Will test your game.
Good value for the price
For the value we had a great day golfing at Lake Diamond. The course is challenging but not overwhelming depending on your level of play. Will play gain.
Very relaxed and laid back.
No pressure on the golf course. Pace was great. Amenities fair no beer. Fairways had a little to much crabgrass but ok as long as you rolled in the fairway. Greens were very nice and true. Will play again.
9 holes in two hours is kind of slow. Were you staying up with the group in front of you? Staff does not know what format a group is playing, no logic in blaming them. Rather than let them play through you quit after 9. Yep that makes sense.
