The course is in great shape and challenging. Yet the only draw back is the pace of play. Tee times are set every six minutes and from the start you are backed up. Plan for a 5-6 hour round when busy. Drink cart service and Clubhouse Bar/Restaurant is fabulous.

If you rated this course based on the cart trails...well, forget it. BUT, even thought he trails are a disaster (and I understand they expect to replace them in the not-too-distant future) the course itself is a real gem. The greens

do a lot make this course...smooth, fast, sneaky breaks, FUN! The fairways are good, the bunkers regularly groomed, and some of the most interesting holes anywhere--especially #3, #12, #17 & #18. Elevation changes, narrow fairways, a real test!

Enjoyed our round of golf on a Tuesday afternoon. Greens were in great shape and there was enough variety in the layout of the course to be interesting and yet not super frustrating. It was wonderful to have a beverage cart with a pretty good selection of items but the one issue we had was that the on-course restrooms were horrible. Both of them had no toilet paper, no soap, and very low water pressure. Maybe not an issue for the men but women have different expectations and needs.

Took my group of four 5 hours to play 18 holes. Management didn’t have a ranger and they allowed a group of five to play, also two twosomes to play separately! We had people at the end of their round not finish and drove past ourselves and groups behind us, because taking so long, will be along while before going back!

Was very busy so not my normal playing pace but I just love this course . Very good value !

Have played this course for 20 years because I love the Desmond Muirhead designed layout. With the massive expansion of the Villages they are booking large groups from there that take over the course and play slowly on average. The course books every 6 minutes which causes huge delays and there are no rangers to speed pace of play. Greens are in good shape the rest of the course is goat ranch quality.

There often aren"t carts available to start your round on time.. The grass is better to ride on than the cart paths which are full of holes. . But if it wasnt crowded its fun to play

Aside from the poor cart paths we enjoyed the course. Fairways thin in places but very playable. Greens in good shape with lots of undulations and fast from above the hole. Challenging layout with water in play on several holes but not without bail out opportunities. Will definitely play again soon.

for booking a tee time and i had to pay at coarse.

Could have got the same price by calling the coarse and saved the 6.00 .The club said they no longer use golf now. Shame on golf now for not removing the club. I feel

golf now rip me off. Shame on you.

Good layout wildlife everywhere old established course fun to play

New full-time snow-bird in 2023. Was previously part-time. I was potentially thinking about joining as price is VERY good, at least for me. Major reason I booked this course. Price was more than fair. Like the layout, especially back nine, but not so great conditions, even considering time of year. You need to play a few times to get a feel for where to hit it. We played Gold on front, blue on back. Greens have a lot of grain in them, typical for FL/South. 18 very tricky. Par 3’s are long from tees we played, all 180+ so very challenging course.

I will likely not join, due #1 to conditions and #2 distance for me as I thought this course was about twice as close as it turned out.

I will likely not return but I might suggest anyone local may want to try it.

Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Tough holes but if you can get to the greens, any putts you miss are your own fault.
