Country Club of Silver Springs Shores

Another great day at the shores course is in fantastic condition and for some reason it was completely empty at 10:30 this morning never waited never kept anybody waiting it was a very enjoyable day went as a single got hooked up with a very cool a little bit older gentleman Stan and we proceeded to have a great time.

I put reviews of this course up before and I will stick to what I always say they have some of the best greens within 30 or 40 miles easily if not farther and the fairways in nice nice shape also it’s just a great experience overall.

Nice course. Started on 10 due to a long line to tee off at 1. Pace was ok. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were a little slow.

This course is a gym near Ocalla the greens are as good as any I have played within 50 miles. It’s a great layout and overall in good shape and the only reason why I gave it three stars for pace of play was today happens to be very slow sometimes you get through in 3 1/2 hours.

Fairways in good shape. Greens in very good shape. Be prepared for a lot of up and downhill putting. Some holes need course mgmt. on your drives. Loved playing here for the first time. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I played 18 and found it to be a good round.

"The Shores" is in great shape. This course has the best greens of any course I've played this year. They are lush and smooth with no weeds or bare spots. The fairways are also in good shape with plenty of grass. New sand in the bunkers this year makes them very playable.

Very nice layout. Fairways and Greens in Great shape, some tee boxes need a little help. Like mentioned in other reviews, cart paths are in rough shape but in no way a deal breaker for me. Played forward tee's with dad (senior) so an enjoyable day and would say that thru the middle tee's. If you play the tips or one in from the tips the course can be a challenge. I look forward to playing there again.

I would drive over an hour to play these greens. Absolutely perfect and I’ve played all over the past few weeks. 35 bucks for a typical rolling target golf Desmond Muirhead course an absolute steal. Can’t stress how awesome the greens were. A lot of other courses in the Orlando area has rough dirt patched greens right now.

Front 9 is as pretty a golf setting as you can ask for. The back 9 winds through old duplexes. It’s odd, but the course is what matters. Great greens and level tee boxes.

Down side, It should be called a semi-pro shop. Not even a golf towel for sale.

They also need to partner up with a local paving company. The cart paths are trash. It’s their own golf carts that are taking the punishment. Where’s the motivation to make these common repairs and upkeep?

Beautiful day! I was paired up with some great guys. However, there was a shotgun start in front of us and pace of play was really bad. Overall course conditions were good, especially the greens. Enjoy playing this course.

We arrived 40 minutes early to find that they were out of carts. P.eople were standing around waiting. We teed off 45 minutes after our tee time only because we asked two folks if we would could pair up with them. We waited on almost every hole. The par 3 was five deep. It took four hours to play 9 holes. We quit after 9 and asked for a rain check and they refused. Great customer service!! We will not return.

Very frustrating day of golf.

Course was in great condition, got to introduce a new friend to it for the first time. Great day out with great friends.
