Country Club of Silver Springs Shores

Becoming my favorite local course, The greens are the nicest greens in the county the rate is great the staff is very friendly the layout is amazing most fairways a reasonable summer a little rough summer very nice rough is average with everybody else but those greens are spectacular. Great layout overall great course today the starter said was the busiest day of the year it was a little slow but it still took between 4:15 and 4 1/2 hours which isn’t the end of the world.

"The Shores" is in the best shape of any course around Ocala right now. The greens are lush with no weeds or bare spots.

This is a great course for the money. The greens are superb and true. Fairways are tight and hard to hit fairway woods off of. They had a cart person on the course and they were very pleasant. I had a very enjoyable round of golf.

This course has some verrrrrrrry long holes and extremely challenging greens. The greens were in excellent condition but not for the average golfer.

I Ranked this course 43 out of 64. Worth the money.

Great greens,fairways and t boxes. Play this course and keep it in the short grass.

Greens were in excellent condition the fairway good but the cart path was in such bad shape I may need a kidney transplant highly recommend this course but ride the rough

Nice layout. Greens were phenomenal. Rolled smooth, quick and beautiful with few imperfections. Best greens we've played on in quite some time. Fairways and tees were good also.

My wife and I played first time on Saturday, it was a perfect sunny day and the course is in the country very nice get away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, did not use bar or restaurant due to COVID. The greens were really nice, difficult to read, but lots of fun. Course fairways were wide, but had hills and rolls to add a bit of challenge. The one negative is the cart path is in very bad need of repair, lots of potholes, disintegrated in areas and often folks went off the path wearing down parts of the fairway to compensate. However, we look forward to returning.

Played from the White tee's which was 6151 yards total. The greens were in very good shape, they were all a solid green color, not many undulations, a good roll, and moderate speeds. Must play again, some of the fairways were pitched towards water hazards, which made your tee shots more demanding.

Course was beautiful, difficulty was challenging but fair. Greens were in great shape and rolled extremely well. Fairways were in great shape for winter and the rough was very playable and fair. Pro Shop person was awesome, Thank You Mike.. Cart Paths need some work, but still passable and easy to follow. Carts were clean and very up to date. My wife and I enjoyed the course and will be back again.

The greens are amazing! Roll true. Make you think about where you want to leave it on the green. Decent elevation changes. Good bunker placement. Really nice course, well thought out course with greens for those who love to putt.
