challenging/fun/fair course
paired with two regular players at this course--had a great experience.
Ocala golf course 1-12-23
The condition and layout of the course were very good. Excellent pace of play.. value for the price was very good. I would happily play this course again and again.
Ocala National 2023
The greens were in great shape. The balls rolled true and the pace fast. The fairways had a lot of new growth that looked very nice and well groomed. The traps were raked and soft. I know this from experience 😊. Fortunately I managed to miss most of them!
coarse in poor condition
The greens were rough didn’t appear to be not taken care of..Fairways were like hitting off of
concrete.. Play was slow golfers jumping around in front of others. The coarse is over priced and appears over played. Will not play again.
Okay course
Greens don't seem to be grass, but a mixture of grass and mud. They are still puttable. Back nine is much more interesting and challenging. Some very good views from atop some tee boxes. Had a fivesome two groups ahead of me, so pace was a little slow. The uphill holes can be challenging (which is good). No cart girl. Practice bunkers were nothing like the real ones. Putting green is exactly like the real ones. Good elevation change on numerous holes.
Very good course, managed poorly
This is a popular muni type course. Good greens, great layout and adequate fairways.
It is very crowded with no on course ranger, thus you are at the mercy of the slowest group. Add to this that for some illogical reason a 5some was allowed out. I was told they were allowed as they were off duty employees. This makes it not only illogical but also rude and insulting..
The 5some was consistently a hole behind in pace and made no effort to expedite their play. Sometimes re putting missed putts.
Very disgusted!!
Nice Course
A nice course that is in good condition most of the time. Pace of play on weekends can be a big issue.
1st rd of 23
Got paired up with a couple of good guy's. I went off early. They went off late. I paid $32 on tee-off. Com. Very fair price. I enjoy the layout. Greens, tee's fairways & bunkers, all in decent shape. Rough needs some more grass. Nice 🌞 day. All was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our golf outing. The course was great and staff was very good. We all stated that we would play this course many more times
Very nice course
I really enjoy playing here and am appreciative that they participate with GN and some others offering deals. Beautiful fairways and greens, teamed up with a guy who drove an hour to play there which really says something about the course.
