Pro shop staff very friendly and helpful. And they actually had a good selection of merchandise which is unusual these days. Pace of play was decent considering that we were a twosome. Course conditions were very good considering it was February. Greens were wicked fast and downhill putting was treacherous. Great layout with a lot of elevation changes which is unusual for Florida.

Classic parkland design that is mostly straightforward and simple. Most tees and fairways in good condition, although leaves on some of the holes can make spotting your ball difficult. Greens are nice and true, although many have sprouting poa annua that is common at this time of year - your ball may hop around a bit. For some reason, all the ball washers have been removed, so make sure to bring a wet towel. Pace of play average, with foursomes teeing off one after another. A few minutes of wait on every shot. A nice course to play at a fair price for this time of year.

Great day at the Ocala golf club course. I have been playing there for over 15 years. Never fails to satisfy. Had taken a break, but i’am back after retirement. Great place to play! , I would definitely recommend it.

pace of play was bad almost 5 hrs bad greens not good

Lacked maintaining everywhere.

Greens were weedy.

paired with two regular players at this course--had a great experience.

The condition and layout of the course were very good. Excellent pace of play.. value for the price was very good. I would happily play this course again and again.

The greens were in great shape. The balls rolled true and the pace fast. The fairways had a lot of new growth that looked very nice and well groomed. The traps were raked and soft. I know this from experience 😊. Fortunately I managed to miss most of them!

The greens were rough didn’t appear to be not taken care of..Fairways were like hitting off of

concrete.. Play was slow golfers jumping around in front of others. The coarse is over priced and appears over played. Will not play again.

Greens don't seem to be grass, but a mixture of grass and mud. They are still puttable. Back nine is much more interesting and challenging. Some very good views from atop some tee boxes. Had a fivesome two groups ahead of me, so pace was a little slow. The uphill holes can be challenging (which is good). No cart girl. Practice bunkers were nothing like the real ones. Putting green is exactly like the real ones. Good elevation change on numerous holes.

This is a popular muni type course. Good greens, great layout and adequate fairways.

It is very crowded with no on course ranger, thus you are at the mercy of the slowest group. Add to this that for some illogical reason a 5some was allowed out. I was told they were allowed as they were off duty employees. This makes it not only illogical but also rude and insulting..

The 5some was consistently a hole behind in pace and made no effort to expedite their play. Sometimes re putting missed putts.

Very disgusted!!
