Nice to play
Greeted by extrememly friendly staff. As a first time player course layout was explained and had no issues.
Greens were very good and rolled true with only a couple having spotty issues which were being repaired properly.
5 tee boxes and mostly wide fairways. Fairways were a little thin on grass which made for pretty tight lies but fine around greens. Overall very nice public course. 19th hole could stand a little better selection of food but still ok. I will for sure play here again.
Pace of play
We have played this course many times and have never known it as bad as yesterday! It took us 3.5hrs to play 14 holes, when along with players behind us and in front, gave up playing.
This is a shame, as it's a good course. An ambassador is required.
We wondered if players came in for lunch and a drink, only to get in front of those golfers who play a through 18 holes.
We will return here, as the course and staff, will make it worthwhile.

Post hurricane
This course was in amazing condition, considering the recent weather. My husband and I, enjoyed our game.
Nice layout
Nice layout I will play it again. I like a course where some of the holes have some personality
Ocala Golf Club
Took a chance on this course through Golf Pass. I've never played it. I wanted to get out of The Villages and play 18 on a decent course. The staff was great. The course was good. The greens rolled good. I enjoyed my day. I'll be coming back.
Early morning round
I played early on a Wednesday morning and was extremely pleased with my decision.
The starter (Daniel)? was helpful and pleasant, got me going right away.
The course was in good shape, greens a little slow from the rain but rolled true.
Overall, it is wide open with not much trouble, it was a pleasure to play and I will return.

Better than last time
There have been constant improvements to the course. A couple of Greens have a spot or two but still very playable. They were slightly hairy, just adjusted to the role speed. I'm sure they are getting ready to cut them. Great round for the price, in my opinion.
Very nice course
It was my 1st time playing there as I just moved to Ocala last week!
I actually would like a part time job there!
