Little secret in Ocala
Overall an enjoyable experience , good value for the money. Bunkers need work , nice fairways, good greens.
Great course
Course is in great condition. All aspects of course are great. If u don't play this course u are missing a fun time,but not an easy time. LOL!!
I always enjoy this course. Greens and fair
Greens and fairways are very playable right now. As the rainy season gets going I will be very happy to get a chance to play it again!
Pretty good overall. Would like to see a cart person back on the course.
Nice Course
Good conditions and layout. Course has forgiving fairways and greens are well tended. The fairways had grass, which isn't always the case I find within this price range.
Disappointing
Very disappointed. Course looks neglected. Lots of bare spots on the fairways and some of the greens were in real rough shape.We were put out behind a bunch of fivesomes playing in a scramble. No drinking water on the front nine and it was a very hot day. Of course there was a drink cart available if you wanted to pay for water. This place used to be one of my favorite stops but has really slipped down my the list today. It looks like the management group that now runs this place, Troon Golf, is taking the course in the wrong direction. I won’t be back unless I hear it has returned to its past great shape.
Great value for the area
Paid $25 per person with a cart for 18 for a good round with a good pace of play.
Great price, but rough conditions
we had difficulty finding a course that could take four people on a Friday. Ocala fit the bill, the price was ridiculously low at $124 for four people, including card.
They had a nice driving range with sand traps and a putting green to warm up on. The course layout was fine with small greens.
Unfortunately, the conditions were not great, the greens, tee boxes, and fairways were very rough. You had to play winter rules on most shots. The greens were also very slow.
It did not help that our cart broke down after the fourth hole. Three holes later, we got a replacement cart. And not even an apology.
Great Day of Golf
Busy day but pace of play was good, everyone kept moving. Course was in good condition except for bunkers were hard from previous rain. Some greens need some work, bare spots on the greens. All in all very good. Staff were friendly and professional. Look forward to our return,
