Course needs repairs
Course needs badly needed repairs, cart paths and bridges are in need of major repairs. Sand traps need significant maintenance, every trap has a different consistency of sand, many are unplayable.
Course is in great condition
This course is in great condition with good, smooth greens. The course has dried out for the most part since yesterday's storms, although a few areas of standing water that aren't really in play, except for several bunkers on practically every hole still holding water. A few of the tee boxes are a bit bare but not a significant effect on my overall perception of the course's condition. The fairways are firm and perfect to hit from. The greens have firmed up a little but still not overly fast. The pace of play today was excellent with no hold-ups at all. It's a great time to play this course.
Great condition
Our foursome started 15 minutes after our scheduled tee time because of several men's groups ahead of us. Obviously members or weekly regulars because each group were fivesomes even though there were enough groups to break them into foursomes. We had to follow and wait each shot for these groups until thunderstorms came through when we were on #7. After the rain cleared we continued and apparently the slow groups had given up during the storms. We had an open course once the skies cleared and enjoyed the remainder of the round. The fairways and greens are in great condition! Putts run smooth and stay on line. The course is in such great condition that I'm returning again tomorrow to give it a go without the damp conditions.
Great time
Course is in very good condition. Fairways to greens. Best I’ve seen in the area in a while
Great Course
We had a great time. Great course and staff. You need to visit the club house restaurant as well. Great meal!
Men’s group
Playing behind the men’s group was awful. Played behind two fivesomes. It wasn’t awful. Took 4 hours and 45 to finish 18 holes. 3 hours is usually how long it’s takes to play 18. Groups never offered to allow my 2some to play through.
Great condition
Course is in excellent condition. Greens are very nice along with the fairways. Does have some rough so keep the ball in short stuff
Always a great round if golf
Met some good guys again and had a nice round of golf. Greens were a little slow from all the rain.
Great Round
Great round of golf. I showed up early and the starter let me go early. The course was in great shape the greens were a little slow but that was due to the early morning wetness. Really enjoyed the round and will definetly be back again.
Always a great round if golf
Although there are a few areas under construction, the course still plays well. The greens are good for the most part and not burned out.
This course is a keeper
May 2, Little chilly, course dry, about halfway through the transition from winter to summer, wind 2-5 kts, nice day. We played from the whites which was plenty long and challenging for us, but they have the blues. Fairways closely,, rough average not to tough. Greens are fast but they hold, a lot of long putts possible and did i say fast. The hardest part of the course is the way they put a million sand traps all right in front of the green so maybe hit em a little long huh? $30 for 9 with a cart, all in all this is our go to course, especially in the winter and when it rains.
Stonebrook
Had fun with a friend and was paired with a couple of fine gentlemen.
Bad experience for an out of town guest!
Upon booking nothing letting you k ow about aeration. At check in, I was asked if I was playing 18 or 9 holes? I responded with 18 and paid in full. Then told the back 9 was closed, the greens were all aerated and to top it off, I found construction on the front 9 and temporary tee boxes.
Very disappointed for a course that had high reviews.
Winter golf
The fairway Bermuda was just beginning to come alive. The greens were not in the best condition. Clubhouse and restaurant were excellent as was the staff. I imagine in another month the course will be in better condition.
Stonebrook Review
The course looked pretty good. The course was in very good condition. Greens were in pretty good condition, but one putt hit a small divot in a green that may have prevented my ball from going in the hole.
I was able to walk the course, which I like.
The course landscape was really rolling or hilly like the Glen Lakes Vista-Dunes Course in Alabama.
Good practice putting green.
Good practice chipping green.
An area near the chipping green and driving range where I could practice pitching.
Good, long driving range.
Not too expensive.
Staff was nice.
The course is great.
Pace was excellent. I was a single walker, and my 18 hole round was probably about 3 hours long.
I recommend playing there. The place is special.
Beautiful and relaxing
I love Stonebrook golf course. It’s always a challenge and always beautiful, which helps me feel relaxed. The staff is extremely accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Nice place to play
Better turf conditions than most courses in the area, interesting course layout. Lots of good holes. Six sets of tees, so you can make this course as tough as you need it to be.
Great staff and great course
The staff is always very friendly! Once a little more grass starts to come in on the fairways, it wil be great!
