Good course, great value
Crane watch has a nice layout accessible for all sort of p’ayer. I enjoy this. Course everytime. Teeoff are in fair shape, fairmways too. Green were slow but nice to put
Course needs love
Good greens, poor tee boxes, sand trop contours in pretty bad shape, average fairways.
Will not go back.
Recent Renovations and Coming in Nicely
Course renovations are nearly complete. Did a great job.
Greens were a little fury. Pace of play was excellent.
Play here if you feel like playing in the Everglades
I’ll give them a break for being wet and soggy for the first four days after the hurricane, but we apparently booked for the first day open which was this past Saturday (7-days after rain ended). Driving range closed because of standing water and they had an apology letter explaining that the fairways and the course hadn’t been mowed in a week because of the heavy saturation. Should’ve walked away at that point as we wasted probably 30 minutes in total trying to find our ball that was not centered on the fairway. The rough was a half inch over the balls and unless you were standing on top of it, you wouldn’t find it. Additional many areas very wet and soggy and made playing Conditions very tough. Also, no notice that they sanded all of the greens. It was like playing on the beach. You needed to hit the ball with twice the power at least to make a normal shot. At a minimum, they should have notified of this and gave us half price if we actually did wanna play Not fun.
Still soggy
Played as a solo with another golfer. Granted Palm City had several inches of rain weeks prior. The fairways were soggy. Green we're very slow and shaggy - haven't been cut in a while. Course is still doing construction on the back nine. Driving range was closed with 3 large lakes in the back. Definitely call before buying a tee time to see if conditions have improved
Great course there always to the course to make it more difficult been there several times Great staff looking forward to my next round
Joke
No one was out in the course, didnt allow any carts , course was beat up and they left the pins on the greens, not even in the holes. Biggest waste of money.
Layout is cool but it’s just not well cared for
Was hoping this course was gonna be great as I’d heard some good stuff about it before. The people who recommended me to it must have played it in very different conditions though. Greens were extremely slow and look like they hadn’t been mowed in days. The rough…oh my god the rough…I understand missing the short grass is supposed to be penalizing but the rough was so deep you couldn’t find your ball without a spotter half the time. 9th hole has a bunker that has had standing water in it for so long that there is algae growing at the bottom and tadpoles in it. Most tee boxes were in rough shape. Won’t be back.
A big disappointment
I guess this was a very nice private club at some time in the past but the glory days are gone. Cart paths are in disrepair. No signage with diagram of the hole. Tees, fairways and greens in poor condition with weeds everywhere. The only positive I can give is the friendly staff in the pro shop. I won’t be back.
Fabulous Course
The course is in fabulous shape, the greens are pure carpet. Wide open fairways and plenty of hazards. My favorite course of all. Good value. Excellent staff, great course maintenance. Highest recommendation.
