Great Course For the Money

Overall 4/5 stars for the price. Even though it’s a par 62 it was in great shape! Staff was super friendly. Pace of play was great for early morning tee times. Fairways in great shape. Even though the greens were just getting through the aeration from weeks prior to, still in good shape. Even saw our first alligator in the big pond by the clubhouse!

I’ve played here many times, course is as good as I’ve seen it. Greens have been punched probably two three weeks ago and are recovering nicely except for one on the front nine. All areas well cared for, grasses were all well maintained , bunkers not as much as everything else but most of the most used ones are fine.

Ups: The course was in great condition. You can tell the grounds crew takes a lot of pride in their work. From tees to green the course was in great shape, Thank you for a job well done.

Downs: The course layout has no rhyme or reason. It's just a bunch of holes put together. There are a few holes that had a lot of water to navigate. Then you have a couple par 3's that are basically chip-n-putt 100 yards. Finally, the practice facility is a joke. It's an old, dilapidated tennis court with mats and nets. I would never even offer it as an option to effectively warm up. From the get-go, that alone left a bad taste in my mouth.

Thank god for the work of the grounds crew!!!

I would only recommend this course if you live fairly close. Otherwise, I probably will not be back.
