Manatee Golf Course

We got rained on by the time we reached the 10th hole, the pro said they don't give rain checks to people that pay on the golf now app. Your app doesn't have any place to get a rain check.

It wasn’t great. The course conditions were “ok” for a public course. I wouldn’t go back

Manatee greens were in very good shape. True roll and perfect, consistent speeds. The fairways are sparse on some holes mainly due to the current long drought but they have improved with recent rains so overall they are improving. Same with the rough (sparser than usual). The bunkers were good. Good chipping & pitching area lies were a bit of hit or miss depending on how the drought has affected ceratin greenside areas. The layout is great with many challenging water penalty areas on maky holes. The wind is also a factor on that golf course as many holes of the layout are often directly up or down wind thus making proper club selection critical. GolfNow offers great summer deals so I highly recommend playing this course for the challenge and value

I played Manatee County for the 7–8th time recently. It is not Pebble Beach or Sawgrass, but for a public course and for the value for what you pay, it’s very good. The greens are a little rough, but that goes with the territory having difficult weather conditions and limited funds I assume. The staff is very friendly in the pro shop as well as a snack bar. I would recommend this course and I have recommended this course to several friends in the area and visiting Bradenton.

Greens had been punched and sanded 2 weeks ago and weer almost completely recovered. Fairways were in good shape. The staff was very friendly.

The course was nicely maintained and the course is played out making it very wide and friendly so slicing a shot doesnt end up with a lost ball. The staff was very nice even though I fumbled the bag thinking I prepaid when I evidently just put a down deposit through golfnow. They where patient and did not get unpleasant. The club house is casual. They had a decent driving range. The only gripe is that it located by a waste management facility and can get a little ripe but it was fine at high noon so not really an issue for me.

The course has a nice layout. Conditions are not the best but 18 holes for $20 makes this a great course to practice. Not busy in the afternoon. Also a good course for beginners

Course wise greens are pure fair ways need a little bit of work and tee boxes as well, as far as staff I lost my wallet they were so helpful in me getting it back offered me a cart to drive the course and see if I dropped it and took my number and gave me a call when someone turned it in super helpful!

Course was in good shape and as always the staff were great. Unfortunately our round of golf was spoilt by a group of 4 teenagers using only 3 sets of clubs in front of us. We waited while they each tee’d off all playing 2 balls each, we gave them the benefit of maybe they had all gone in the lake 20 ft on the right. We waited for a while for them to take subsequent shots.

The first par 3 found them all standing and chatting on the green ( no putting ) we ended up shouting for them to putt. Front 9 took over 2 1/2 hours with three groups behind us missing out holes to get past them, but we managed to pass them when they went in the clubhouse before the back 9. They then continued with their childish behaviour from throwing the rented clubs at the carts to playing with no shirts on, to shouting out when we were putting. No course Marshall anywhere, being harassed by children driving golf carts is not what we signed up for. Decided to finish the back 9 early and reported it to the cart man and went into the clubhouse and also reported it to the manager.

There are to many golfers taking to many practice strokes.

Go to the range and practice hitting the ball .

I've never the course Marshall on the course.

Great course and staff. Greens are decent and pricing in afternoon is a great value.
