Buffalo Creek Golf Course

I wouldn't play this course for free. Every green is trashed. People allowed to play in jorts and t-shirts. Some barefoot.

The staff were very friendly and ranger extremely helpful but almost every tee box was beat up and many were exempt of grass whatsoever. Fairways were very nice and play was great. I will return

Played today with my wife. Pace of play for 18, 3 hours 45 minutes. Waited on most holes on the back side. Greens in good shape, fairways we're in ok shape, rough was short and dry. Most of the area is in draught conditions and it showed.

Buffalo Creek is a fun layout and always nice to play a round there. Course was in decent shape even though a few of the greens were a little patchy. Two of the greens were temporary the day we played, while they totally re-do four of the greens this summer, with the rest to be scheduled later. Pace of play was excellent, about 3:45 for our threesome, and we had perfect weather for Florida in April. Good bargain, and you might get to see a gator or two.

The fact that it’s costing more then $60 to play buffalo creek is an absolute outrage. It’s completely out of control!!

Very friendly, price we good, greens were terrible two greens closed. We still enjoyed our round even with bad greens fairways just ok.

Loved the course and the layout but the some sections of the greens were not in good shape. Although there were some bad spots the greens rolled really well.

Not sure why but Buffalo Creek is in damger of lising all their greens. I don't know why. They are getting ready to put into play, temporary greens to repair the current greens. Until they fix thier current greens I will wait to play again. It is a great links layout with very friendly staff but the greens are in serious trouble.

I was extremely disappointed in the overall condition of the course. Half of every green was green sand not grass . The grass in the fairways was sparse at best . For being a county course its in terrible condition

The greens are in horrible shape. On the green is large patches of sand over the green. I’m certain no rain has had a major impact on these greens

The course was maybe what we expected due to the drought, the problem was the greens. Most of them were in very bad shape, almost unplayable. We got stuck in the back nine behind some very slow players. At one point we literally waited at least 15 minutes for them to get out of the way, and there were at least 3 holes open in front of them. The marshal finally came, but did little to move them along. Will probably not play there again!

Greens are still rough but fairways are nice and course layout is good

I have played this course quite a bit. The greens are in very bad shape at this time. The fairways are fine, but just off them the grass is mowed shorter than the fairways. The course needs a few weeks or a month without play so they can recover the greens.

We play here often and enjoy the golf course. Yesterday was something I have not experienced in 45 years of playing golf. We waited on every shot which is normal and had no issues with. The ranger followed us from the 7th to the 9 hole. He saw us waiting but after the 9th hole, he told us we needed to keep up with the group in front of us and pointed to the 10th hole. We informed him that was not the group in front of us. We went by the snack bar and sure enough the group was in front of us were there also. We got what we needed and then went to the 10th. We talked with the group In front of us for 8 minutes before they could tee off. We then waited 14 minutes before we could tee off. We waited 11 minutes in the fairway before we could hit approach shots. Then basically the same on the 11th hole. The ranger approached us on the 11th green lecturing us again. Sound like someone needs to be trained.

Dont waste your time or money playing here for at least another 2 months or so. That is if they plan on taking care of the greens. Practice green is horrible and almost every green on the course is the same. Lots of patches and brown spots. Really sandy and the proshop failed to mention course conditions before paying.

Where do I start?!?! Was charged a full round fee just for a rider. Practice green is in horrible shape and the driving range is all mats. The greens were very rough. Lots of sand and brown patches everywhere. Hole 11 literally had a 4x10 patch in the middle of the green from sod. The course doesn't have any water coolers around, nor does it have a beverage cart.

Pace of play was good and so were the fairways. Only good thing I can say about today's round is that the golf cart did its job.

This course is in terrible condition. The greens are mostly green sand to disguise the fact there is no grass. Tee boxes also in poor condition. Pace of play also poor 4 1/2 hours. Would definitely not recommend. Lots of work needed to call this a golf course.

The fairways are mostly in good conditions. Bunkers are in terrible condition. Dirt not sand. Greens are in the poorest condition possible. Mostly sand with little grass

Club house is nice. Staff is very unfriendly and rude. I would not recommend Buffalo Creek to anyone,
