Pace very slow, and there wasn't a ranger to explain the pace of play. Pick up the ball and move to the next hole if your not keeping up.

River Run Golf Course has a very nice layout with an enjoyable design that makes for a good round of golf. Unfortunately, the course appears to have some drainage issues, as there was a significant amount of standing water throughout the course. This detracted from the overall playing experience and made some areas less enjoyable than they could have been. With better drainage and improved water management, this course has the potential to be a really great place to play. The layout is definitely a strong point, but the course conditions need some attention to match it.

On a day when the there was light traffic on the course (cart path only as well). It took us almost five and half hours to play. One group was backing up the entire field and there were zero rangers or etiquette from the golfers holding everything up. They were playing poorly and gathering from three different tee boxes on every hole. Can you imagine the delay doing this? Golfers were abandoning the course!

Normally play is fairly good, I know it was very wet, but the group in front should played from one tee box and either let groups through or abandoned.

We were overall very pleased with the golf course and the staff and look forward to a return trip !

Had some soggy spots, typical for Florida golf courses during summer months. The greens were a little spotty with sandy patches, but they were playable and rolled fast and true. All in all it was a great course, enjoyed by the foursome that I played with!

Course is in fairly good shape. Some of the greens need a bit of improvement but overall a fun day for golf. There are some very wet spots you need to keep a look out for. Some areas are marked by the staff and some are not. Most of the sand traps are mud.

Course was too wet and it took too long to play. Never saw a ranger or a maintenance crew on the course. When three groups are waiting to tee off on hole 14, you have a course management problem.

Couldn’t believe how bad of shape the course was in. Multiple times my ball was lost in a swamp in the fairway. After playing here almost 30 times I can’t justify coming here any longer

Course has gone downhill in the last four months. Most of the course is a swamp and the greens are in terrible shape. I bring guests here as the price point was good but that will no longer hapoen

Course was wet from prior night’s extensive rain fall. Cart path only but overall course played as well as could be expected. Maintenance crews out working on course which was nice to see. Peace of play was perfect. No real waiting between shots!! Price was even better !! Will return soon!!

Good condition, played 18 in two hours, wish I could get points for playing there.

Were met & welcomed by Mike (carts & starter) & sent right out after checking in. Course was virtually empty late on a Sunday morning (football + heavy rains the night before) so we got around in light speed. Traps were waterlogged & 90 degrees on all fairways but course was very playable & we enjoyed our round. Recommend River Run & hope to be able to play there again soon.

For the price was perfect what I expect good fairways and decent greens. Pace of play was bad on the front 9 back 9 was bether.
