River Run Golf Links

The layout is fun to play and challenging. The greens are in rough shape and SLOW!! The course tried their best to put the pins in places less affected by the disease on the greens. The Marshall was cleaning clubs for tips instead of monitoring the pace of play on the golf course which was an issue as well.

Awesome course layout and friendly staff and good people to play with. Course could use a little work but worth the price to play the fun and challenging course.

Course is in good shape. The staff is excellent. Putting surfaces are in very good shape. You will enjoy your round if you play on this track.

After playing River Run not long ago, and enjoying it very much, we returned and played a late morning weekday round on another very hot day. As such, the course was almost empty. Finished in approx. 3.5 hours playing as a threesome. Fairways were a bit thin and very dry and firm as this area has experienced drought conditions for quite some time. Greens were in decent shape, although fringe areas on a few (especially on the back nine) were starting to deteriorate. Sand traps were in acceptable condition but sand was a bit shallow. (As always, we were warmly greeted on arrival and well taken care of by the staff members we encountered. On this day it was Lynn (outside) and Rick & Cindy (inside).) Would recommend this course and plan on returning soon.

Played late morning weekend round on a painfully hot and humid day. The staff (Kevin on carts, Mike and Cindy inside) made us feel welcome and appreciated. Course was (most likely due to weather conditions) almost empty and we played (as a foursome) in four hours, even after letting a threesome play thru. Greens were in decent shape, with absolutely no bare spots or damage. Although fairways were hard, thin, and very dry they were quite playable. Sand traps were baked hard in some spots. (Not complaining as the “Hot Deal” round was priced to reflect this.) Will try to play River Run again soon, even knowing that as long as this drought and heat wave continue these are the conditions we can expect.

The staff were so nice, so helpful, and I really appreciated them. The course was fun, very reasonably priced and I enjoyed the day.

The course was in average condition. I have played it when it was better. I am sure when we finally get some consistent rain it will improve. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the golf course is always fun to play.

I was pleasantly surprised by this course. The conditions were really good. Tee boxes were flat and in really good shape. Fairways were good and greens were mostly very good. I really like the layout of this par 70. I will definitely be playing this place again. A few notes: there is no range here. There are two cages where you can warm up and hit into a net, so at least there is a place to warm up, asa well as a putting area. The staff was all great here.

This course was in the best shape out of all we have played in the last two months.The staff were really good & nothing was too much trouble Really enjoyed the day.

Have always loved the layout of this course. For a city run course this is my favorite muni. Starter was awesome! Also was surprised by the condition of this course since we are in a severe drought. It's in good shape. Fun round.

Always enjoy playing this course, From Mike meeting me to take my clubs to the cart to everyone inside, the starter, the Ranger everyone there is awesome. Nice course well maintain awesome challenges!
