Moccasin Wallow Golf Club

Everyone was please with staff, conditions, pace and of course the excellent greens.

Hadn't played here is years because the conditions got so bad. New ownership has spent some $$ to have all the greens is good condition. Some tee boxes and portions of fairways need to be replaced. But for the $, it's well worth it. And this time of year there's only ever like 15 tee times taken everyday. Literally had thw course to myself going off at 10:30

This was my first time playing at the course. The tee boxes were pretty underwhelming but the greens were much better. The course layout was great, scenery was overall very nice. Will absolutely play this course again. The negative and it’s more of an opportunity, the course needs water stations. Florida is way too hot to not keep water on the course. Never understood how golf courses miss the mark with lack of golf carts and lack of water cooler/station.

Honestly surprised this course isn’t more busy. Course is in great shape. Challenging but fun to play. I have played here twice and will keep coming back!

Couldnt find course on GHIN. This was not an issue before so maybe mgmt can reply back here. Otherwise, course is in much better shape vs the winter time/drought. Frustrating parts of course: tee boxes, bad patches off some greens

It was my first time playing MOC since the name change. I frequently played Imperial Lakewoods and back then I absolutely adored it.

The course is in pretty good shape overall

Several greens unfortunately had work being done on them, and the sand in the bunkers need to be upgraded so that you get the true feel of hitting out of sand.

The Grill only.had hot dogs.and sausages at 2:30 in the afternoon. We were looking forward to at least a burger with fries.

The course is in pretty good shape and the pace of play was excellent.

Never played Moccasin Wallow before and considering the lack of rain and that greens were fairly recently punched we enjoyed both the course layout and conditions. The greens were relatively fast and rolled true. We heard that the course conditions had been neglected a few years ago but really didn’t see any evidence of that this week. We would enjoy playing this course again and will recommend to friends.

Tough course, but challenging for all. Greens were very quick and in good condition, in spite the drought. Sand traps were disappointing. Not really sand, more of a firm clay mix. Driving range was closed, so had to hit off mats. Pace of play was decent, considering the course was fairly busy.

This course compared to others in the area is in fabulous condition! The greens are very puttable, the fairways have grass and you can tell. They have really put a lot of work into the course. Will be back to play this often.

An excellent days golf. Played 18 holes in just under 3 hours.

The Florida drought means that the course does have its issues, but the greens are superb, and overall, I would rate it the best of the five courses I have played on this trip so far.

I had not played this course in almost 10 years. I like the layout. But I was disappointed in the overall condition of the course. The greens were very good and fast. But the rest of the course was not in the same condition. Additionally, the clubhouse and restaurant closed at 4 pm. So with a 1:30 tee times, we weren't able to use the restaurant after our round. I think the rates are too high for this course at this time, based upon the condition.

Played for the first time with the wife we will be back. Greens and well taken care of and fast

We played this course a lot over the years and it had gotten kind of bad but it sounds like they have put in some irrigation and I thought that the teas, greens and fairways were all in really good shape. For the most part. Everything is more expensive than it has been around Sarasota, but they are at least in the reasonable category which is nice. We will definitely play here again
