Stay away
Poorly run the ladies are unfortunately not friendly, the course is a mess tee to green , I wold not play their again even if it was free
Poorly looked after
The club house in the back at the rear no signs ?
Starter and pro shop lady about as pleasant as a triple bogey, the course was in table shape tee box to greens, never again a
Almost an executive course with tons of water
If you’re looking for a short course with many difficult and awkward water hazards, this is your course. Apparently they moved some holes around so GPS doesn’t work there at all. Greens were unpredictable and often slow and pace of play was frustrating and snail-like because of overbooking. Bring a number of “water balls” you are not afraid to lose! Saw a fairly large gator sunning himself near one of water hazards. Interesting place.
Brutal lay out
Unfortunately even trying to locate the pro shop was a difficult. No signage and of course the pro shop clerk and the starter had about as much of a personality as a dead plant , never again
Very short
This is an exec course. Mostly par 3’s. My fault for not doing research. Worse though is they have an event every Sunday afternoon. They stuck us behind them and the pace of play was very slow.
Never going back
I'd give it zero stars if that were an option.
The Superintendent of the golf course needs some major training on how to be respectful of customers. He comes out of his house yelling at my friend not to drive our cart behind the green, to which she apologized and moved. Then he re-engaged to argue that we weren't listening as we were not on the cart path. He then pulled away in his cart and flipped us the middle finger!!! Was it because we are women? Maybe because my friend is a woman of color? Or maybe he's just not a pleasant person. Well, there really is no excuse and you can be assured that our executive lady golfers from this area will not be back or recommend Terra Ceia to anyone we know. There are plenty of other courses around who will gladly appreciate our business and treat us with respect and class.
Last time ever playing here
Superintendent was rude and unprofessional, yelling at us for driving behind the green and then for not being on the cart path, flipping us off as he took off in his cart. (Not a nice way to treat a couple of executive ladies who play golf regularly with lots of others!) Too many people booked too close together - 15 minutes behind schedule to start, then way too long waiting in between holes. No one managing pace of play. Greens not in great shape. Left after nine hole and won’t go back.
