Lost Key Golf Club

This course is not one to brush up on your game. Being a little off line will result in lost balls and penalty strokes. Without a course guide, the holes are not intuitive and you may find yourself hitting through fairways or taking lines that are not where you thought things were.

The greens were in wonderful shape and roll true. The fairways are nice, but roll into the tough and you may not find your ball. When found, the grass grabs your club. Also tough to judge distance in case the ball is sitting up, you very easily can slip underneath. The sand is fluffy and fair to hit from - which you will do a lot!

This course is best for consistent straight hitters.

Thjs course is tight and there’s trouble left and trouble right. Greens are in great shape. Stay out of the traps cuz you’ll be hitting a fried egg. I look forward to playing here again.

If you are not a straight hitter then take a few extra balls. Greens here are extremely large on most holes and are in excellent condition. They will probably be some of the best you will play. Be ready to encounter marsh after marsh and a good amount of sand, but landing areas are accommodating for the most part. Yardages to the front, middle and back of the greens are well marked on sprinkler heads but a GPS giving you yardage to landing areas can be very helpful on this course.

First time on the course. Not forgiving and the wind made it even tougher. I am an 8 HC, played blue tees and it was a challenge. Not a course for high HC, but a good challenge for low HC.

Pace was great until I ran into a 3 some that were beginners and would not allow a play through. Overall, good experience.

We really enjoyed the golf course. It was challenging but not overly difficult from the correct tees. The greens, tees, and fairways were in great shape. The staff was courteous and helpful. Overall it was a great day on the golf course.

I was excited playing on Lost Key although some reviewers said this course is like “Lost Ball”.

But it was not just about Lost Ball…

I saw lot of poor condition on fairway.

Rough was just rough.

Sand on bunker was hard even the weather was good.

Green condition was also not good.

I don’t understand how people give more than 4 stars on this course.

I was absolutely disappointed on the course.

I played Kiva Dunes about two month ago.

Kiva Dune is much much better than Lost Key!!

The course and greens are in excellent condition. Hit them straight and you will not have any problems. Keep them in the short grass. It was gun.

Nice round on a Monday. Conditions were very good except on a few of the tees. Remainder was great and a good time.

We had a really good time playing here. The staff was great and the course conditions were good. It had some rough spots but what public course doesn’t. It is a tight course but still didn’t have many issues playing it. Definitely will play here again.

Really fun layout. Challenging but fun.

It helps to have someone who knows the course.

Bring plenty of balls if you are not accurate off the tee. A couple of holes are very confusing off the tee, but still a great course. However, i have never putted on such perfect greens. Will definitely return with a better game off the tee.

We played in normal time, course in great shape, t, f, g. Very tight course. Bring balls. I would play it again and again.

Just a cool layout course and in great condition. True you can’t bomb it on every hole but it’s cool to play a course that requires course management. The greens are in very good condition and fairways are like carpet. Staff was awesome.
