Amazing track!
First time playing here was early January of ‘23 and while I had low expectations because of the time of season, it could have been a more enjoyable round. The course is in immaculate condition that offers fun and unique holes. Definitely worth the hour drive as I can’t wait to come back

Double Booking Drove Slow Play
A solid experience overall, with one exception. Hopefully this was a one off occurrence, but many tried to enjoy the good weather after two weeks of cold. Staff started people on the front and back nine, so when we came later in day, the back half folks overlapped our tee time. Made for excruciating play pace for the front nine.
Have had great experiences in the past and the course was in great shape despite the weather. Just didn't like the overlap... We booked later in the day to avoid the crowds, and it kept us from getting through the back nine before dark. Hopefully next time things will be better.

Tough but enjoyable course.
I have only been playing 2 years. For me, this is a very tough course. But I enjoy it a lot! For December, the course was in fantastic shape! Only my third time here but plan to return!

Lots of Blind Shots
Blue Ridge Shadows is a golf course for all golfers to enjoy. The course was in great condition and it is challenging because of the blind spots. I will play again.

Held our college alumni chapter outing here. The folks were very nice to work with and unlike many other courses we're open to taking a small group on a busy Sat in the Fall. It's a great course. I just wish it was closer to the D.C. area.

Challenging but enjoyable course
This is a gem of a course with some very tough holes. A hacker like me gets into a lot of trouble on some of the holes! But it is a fun course to play and is laid out very nicely.

Excellent Course!
This course is in excellent condition and provides a great mix of some very challenging tee shots and pin placements. From elevated tee boxes, to water, to tight pin placements, this course has it all and at a very affordable rate. Excellent friendly staff and a fun layout with view of the Blue Ridge!

Course has some interesting holes. Dog legs in both directions. Some blind shots, caused lost strokes due to hazards not seen. Overall good experience. Enjoyed playing the course.

Nice to Be Back, Nice to Have Options Again Via GN
This course was a mainstay for us during the pandemic, with limited crowds, wide open but challenging course, great value, very friendly staff. My now 13 YO son and I, amateurs at best, would drive out an hour from DC suburbs and enjoy a mid to late afternoon of golf regularly. It was great.
This year, with the recovery, it seems like they made the choice to eliminate twilight/afternoon prices, turn off 9 hole option. With the higher costs of everything, the value for us at the level of golf we play became less "worth it" to make the trip. So, when these options started showing up again, we jumped at the chance to come back.
The course, the people, the experience was just as good, and the value proposition was there. We had a great time, and you will too. I only hope they keep these options for the amateur golfer available, both in the coming off season and come springtime.
