Love the layout and everything is well maintained for the most part great course
Gem of a course!
First time playing Blue Ridge Shadows Golf club.....but it wont be the last. Challenging layout...altitude changes...beautiful views. Staff was super fruendly.

Enjoyable
It's a bit of a drive for me from Tysons Corner, but worth it. Very reasonable greens fees and the course has a neat layout and was in very good condition.

Outstanding Condition!!
Always try and play this course 4 to 5 times a year. BRS is in outstanding shape - fairways & greens. If you haven't played it this year I highly recommend! Greens were running fast and with very few ball marks.

Always challenging for me!
Course was in great shape! Pace was good! Its always a challenge for me as an average player but a great place to practice lots of shot shaping because the course offers great layouts. Enjoy this course and looking forward to next round soon!

I had heard about this course and decided to give it a try while down vacationing from Canada and I was not disappointed. Very tough 18 holes especially the front 9 which is tree lined and for me a little claustrophobic since I'm not the straightest hitter of the ball at times. Back 9 is flatter and has more of an open links type feel to it. Played as a single in 3H 15M which was great. Pro shop staff were very helpful in getting me oriented as I'd never played here before. Played so terribly I'm coming back here in a couple of days so hopefully I learned something the first time around!
