Shot makers delight
Well conditioned golf course that will challenge you off the tee and test every club in your bag. Greens roll true and quick and make sure you miss the ball on the right side of the hole or green as it’s a real challenge to get it up and down if not. Make sure you bring your “A” game to this beauty of a beast.
Worth the drive
My courses are opening up in a few days, glad I made the trip down to Virginia today. Everything was groomed. Only negative thing I can say, is people could take time to fix there ball marks. I loved the course, fast greens, nice cut fairways and plenty of scenery!!!

Range finder
Let the range finder get me on the front but started playing smarter on the back and trusting the range finder and the slope difference.

Amazing course amazing value
First time playing here and couldn't have been happier. The course was in phenomenal shape, the pace of play was very fast, and I don't think the value can be beat. The course makes you think a little bit, which I like. You'll be punished for making stupid plays. The blend of elevation, shot strategy, and layout makes this very enjoyable. Don't be discouraged if your first round isn't a great one because the lay of the land definitely takes one round to get used to. I'll definitely be coming back out here for a round very soon. Keep up the great work!

Awesome staff and course.
We tees off at 1:42 and played in a little over 3 hours as a threesome. The course is not in prime summer conditions but it’s only April. Comparing to other courses in the area, it is in top notch shape. Greens were punched a few weeks ago and they are healed up. Fairways are green and lush. The layout is really fun and challenging. Highly recommend playing this course.

Very good value and variety of holes. A lot of elevation changes would make this very tough to walk.

Starting to Green Up
Played at Blue Ridge Shadows numerous times over the winter. Nice layout with plenty of elevation changes. Greens were recently aerated with small tynes but rolled nicely. Course is starting to green up. Always enjoy playing at Blue Ridge.

We drive about 75 miles to play this course quite a few time a year.
Love it on this trip the manager said we could start a little early because a large group was tee off on 1. Worked out great,had a outstanding pace of play and we always had a empty hole behind us. We would like to say thank you to. Him.

Worth the money
It’s February and it’s really just great to be able to play. The bunkers were battered, and there was casual water everywhere, but it’s February. You know? It’s a fun track and playing from the tips is a great challenge. Enjoyed it immensely

Best kept secret golf course
This golf course is clearly the best kept secret, i have been playing golf over twenty years around Maryland and Virginia . Tee to the green almost perfect, not a bold spot on the course even in the winter months. It's clearly hands down best value for your buck in Virginia period.

Always a great exciting course to play
The course has some very interesting hole starting with #1. The course is beautifully laid out and always in great shape no matter what season you are playing there. We travel approximately 65 miles in the winter. Because it is warmer than where we live and the course is n great shape. The people here are so nice!
