The course was tough but fun. It has challenging greens and open fairways. Lots of hidden pins. Great course to play, second time a round should be a lot better.

I love this course, a real gem. If you want a flat course, stay away, lots of elevation changes, which creates some fun challenges.

Staff is amazing, the Starter really tries to help everyone out and does a great job.

This course has some great hole. It is challenging but fair. The greens seemed like they had been airated recently which impacted putting. The fairways have a few dead spots but all in all a great course.

Course is beautiful. Staff is top notch. Was not pleased about having to play cart path only. Also, suggest they marshal play - people in front of us very slow and were riding all over the fairways.

Course was in good condition considering the lack of rain the last few months. Enjoyed playing with 2 members . Will definitely play agsin

First time playing Blue Ridge Shadows and we really enjoyed it. Very interesting layout with lots of tees to adjust to however challenging you want it. Greens were rolling well and in nice shape overall, some still healing from repairs to damage. But no problem playing them. Staff is super. Colby went out of his way for us. Very hilly. Beautiful scenery and nice views in the distance of Shenandoah National Park.

Not from around here, was in the area for a family reunion. Maybe there’s nothing else in the area which allows them to justify the green fees, but no part of the course conditions justified the cost. Bunkers are a real issue and very inconsistent. Tee boxes looked like they had been vandalized in some areas. Greens rolled well where they weren’t damaged by unfixed ball marks. Layout is interesting. Staff were great, the place could be a great track with significant maintenance improvement.

Course changed our tee time (earlier) which was not an issue but they should have told us before. Also course was cart path/rough only. NO DRIVING in fairway!! Course had NO water at the tee boxes which in hot weather is a must. Not a good experience and quit after 14 holes due to the lack of water and having to walk across fairways.

I played here last weekend with my friend. The team behind us threathened to play faster even though we were on the normal pace (it was full of tee times so congestion was inevitable without my fault). He told he is a member of the course and will hit my head with a ball hitting a driver. What a disaster. Membership should be more managed.

Course was in great shape. Significant elevation changes throughout the course. Greens had lots of subtle breaks that did not help my putting stats but for the first time playing the course it was overall easy to navigate.
