Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Never Seen The Course I Worst.....!!!
Renditions Is Such A Nice Layout Of Holes That’s Fun and Challenging. I’ve Never Seen This Course In Worst Shape. hard, Dried out,; The Greens Are Always Fast which I Like ; But Dried -Out And Bumpy. I Don’t Know if its new management But I Played it twice last week and for the very first time, I was disappointed. They Shuttle you off like Cattle, Before your scheduled tee-time, No Chipping To Warm-up......Not Cool. Overall I Give it a D+ Considering The Other Great Courses in The Area.
Worth the drive
Being new to the area I’m in the process of trying as many new DMV area (did I say that right) courses as time allows. With apologies to Six Flags and the surrounding communities this course is kinda in the middle of nowhere but still fairly easily accessible. I’ve had occasion to play similar replica courses in Texas (Tour 18) and Renditions stands shoulder to shoulder with these tracks.Pace of play on a weekday round was typical as one might expect navigating Amen Corner,Sawgrass 17 and various replicas of other holes around the world.Conditions we’re fine save a few hiccups ie 17th green but all in all an interesting entertaining round .
Fun Variety... Well Manicured
Course in good shape in April 2021. Well manicured for so many different styles of holes. Complimentary range balls, GPS carts, and nice clubhouse restaurant are pluses. Highlight of the course is replica of TPC Sawgrass 17th island hole. Only complaint was ranger did not enforce pace of play - group in front of us was well behind pace of play all round.
So much fun
Was not expecting this course to be this much fun. Very challenging but fun overall
Interesting
I am not a good golfer. I started about 3 yrs ago. I found the course interesting reading how each hole mimicked a famous hole on the tour. The course was in relatively good shape for this time of year.
Challenging golf course in decent condition considering cold weather
I played this course for the first time. I had an early morning tee time that was delayed due to frost. The course did a shotgun start which was good but My group had the unfortunate luck to be behind a very, very slow foursome. It seemed like they were betting on each shot based on all that talking that was going on. They were at least a hole and half behind the group in front. I wish a marshal would have come out to do something. We ended up playing in almost 5 hours and pretty much lost interest the last three holes. Aside from that, the course was in decent shape considering the cold weather.
Great fun
Loved the layout. Challenging but fair and not too penal.
Fun spot, tough challenge on a blustery day
I've heard mixed reviews of this course over the years, but I really enjoyed the replica setting for an early season round. Having not played any of the originals, I could squint and believe I was at Augusta or Carnoustie. Staff was very friendly and play moved along at a reasonable pace. Nice, compact starting area allows for range practice and easy load-up to the first hole. Downsides? The routing is a little bizarre, with long cart rides out to the main property starting at hole No. 3--there's no way to walk this course. Conditions were meh. While the TPC 17th and Amen Corner are memorable, some of the class holes from Oak Hill, Cherry Hill, Medinah, Southern Hills, etc., are not quite memorable enough to warrant replication (but the wicker flagstick a la Merion is great). Many of the greens have hellacious slopes. Overall, a lot of fun...
COVID
I was a single and they paired with another. While Covid is ongoing that is a bad decision. Please look at your Covid policy and keep separate players separate until we get through this situation. I should receive a refund because it affected my play . I was not comfortable throughout my round .
