Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

I felt like a pro playing this course
This was an amazing course. It certainly lived up my our expectations. I’m definitely going back soon.
Wonderful staff
Out of the course conditions and preparation, the staff were amazingly friendly. Really enjoyed the outings
Rally at Renditions
Excellent course. Excellent staff. Great experience with my foursome. Definitely won brownie points with the fellas who were playing here for the first time.
Mis managed
Sadly this course has gone a bit downhill and it starts at the top.
Poor conditions, pro shop is unprofessional and pretty clueless on how a golf course should be run.
It’s sad because the course has a cool design and seems to have a high budget for maintenance.
Buzz Kill
The reason for the 2 star rating for Renditions despite perfectly acceptable condition of the course is that for the 1st time in my 39 years of playing golf I had a hole in one. It was on the TPC replica island hole. My playing partner had his name on the plaque in the dining room for his hole in one in 2000. When we told the staff they were congratulatory but said they do not put names on the plaques anymore. They have 5 plaques and there is room for more names. The staff said if I wanted to commemorate my achievement I could buy a $30 pin flag. This is not a policy that endears loyal customers to remain loyal customers. I guess I will have to be content in my knowledge of this event. The wings in the restaurant were excellent, perfectly crispy and the bartender very friendly and attentive.
It Was really cool
The re-creation of golf’s iconic holes was amazing. But I was overmatched by the greens first time around. Great experience but don’t expect a great score even if you are stroking it well. This course is hard as sheep.
Very fun course
Conditions are great, course and staff are fantastic. Love it here - expensive but worth what you pay
Ehhhh
Was excited to try this course after hearing so much about it. Didn’t live up to the hype at all really. $92 to play on a course while fairways are being aerated is ridiculous. I’m all for keeping the course in good shape, so I understand the need for maintenance, but I don’t know how you can charge full price during that phase. Anyway, outside of that, the round was okay. Pace was fine because there wasn’t anyone there at 7:30am. Probably won’t be back anytime soon unless someone else pays or they run a special.
Fun but some issues
The driving range slopes downhill so you can never find a level matt to practice...Can you pay $100 for around and not get any practice balls? And the grass tees are never open. I’ve been there 15 -20 times and maybe open maybe once... I enjoy the layout, I enjoy the replica holes, I think the difficulty of some holes are underrated. Really enjoyed the Augusta amen corner, and the Oakmont Green. I could do without the island green. All it does is slow up play as people hit multiple balls... biggest problem is usually the pace of play. Most days it’s a 4 1/2 to 5 hour round. Today flew by but then again it’s Mother’s Day so hardly anyone was out there. Course was in great shape, greens were perfect cool spring weather some of the bare spots and fill in.
Pricey
It was definitely a cool experience, love the layout and the conditions were decent, greens were nice, fairways stunk. Just overpriced I would pay 50 or 60 to be fair, cost me 95.
Water.........Water
Course is nice but hasn’t been maintained properly. Need a new greenkeeper or bigger budget. Cool course with all the different famous holes of golf. A lot of deadpan even in fairway and around greens.
Brought the guys Ge
Fun to play but in perfect condition then we got AMEn CORNER book I. Line 70$ better desl
Good concept
Facilities were nice and it was easy to check in. We were able to get off as a twosome, which was great. I had read reviews that the staff wasn’t friendly. But I’m an adult and don’t expect other adults to be effusively happy. They were professional and nice; It’’s a business transaction. Our starter was great. The carts were new and have electronic mapping which showed you exactly where you were in relation to the hole in allowed you to interact with the screen (get distances to hole/bunkers etc) which was very helpful. It is a public course; it’s in good shape but not great shape. (No one seems to repair their divets)..The greens were exceptionally fast and we got out on a very windy day which made play challenging.Really enjoyed the concept of playing famous holes. The holes really look like the real thing in many cases.Had a good time. Not cheap. But I would recommend it as a bogey-golfer.
