Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Challenging and enjoyable.
I like this course more each.time I play it. I do look for discounted tee times. I think $50 is more than enough for a senior on a weekday. Looking forward to in season conditions. I have played twice this year under winter and early conditions. The staff are very friendly and hospitable.
Wanted to see and experience of real PGA golf, go, play, and feel!
This is my very first time playing on this course.
Not just me but I am sure almost every golf fanatic will want to experience the real PGA feel.
I heard so much about this Rendition Course and finally tried.
There were few bad reviews but most of them were good so I had to see it for myself.
The layout of the course is fantastic, it's a PGA quality HOWEVER, the condition of this course was not and was bit of disappointment as I was expecting more.
I guess I was expecting A lot.
But I tell you what, the condition was better than most of courses around so I am just saying if you don't have too much expectations as I had, you will definitely enjoy it.
Oh, the cart has GPS screen so you can see and how far.
I just didn't trust at all so got myself in lot of bunker trouble, so guys, please trust the GPS !!!
I played front nine from WHITE TEE and it seems bit short so I tried from the tip on back nine and that's was LONG!!
But if you want to share or experience how the pros do, try playing from the tip!
It is totally fun!!!
I did, I had tons of fun ...... getting in bunkers... yes, tons of bunkers, lol. (Most of them are blind but you can see from the cart gps!!)
But it was real good experience, so golf fellas, go play this Course!!!!!
Outstanding course
This is the Holy Mecca for us weekend golfers, the greens are always well taken care of the staff is customer service at it's best. Now this is were you will learn how to play recover golf. The TPC hole #13 or 17 will make you feel like you are on tour (LOL). Overall it should be one of the course you have on your bucket list.
Must play.
A must play course. Pace of play is 5:30 with the backups after the snack stand that one passes 3 times. The replica holes are a real attraction and fun to play.
Course was fantastic
This course was challenging, greens were in perfect condition. One of the best golf outings I have experienced. I look forward to returning.
Excellent Challenge
This is a course one definitely needs to play at least once just to get familiar with it, not expecting to score that well during the familiarization. There was no easy hole, but no one hole was unfairly difficult and most holes are pretty wide open. Course management would be a major takeaway. for me going back a second time, which I plan to do at some point. It was extremely windy the day I played, and kind of cold. This took away from the "pleasure," but I appreciated the adventure.
Unique course
It had been four years since I ladt played here. I like the course for its unique style of holes from great courses. Overall, the course was in good shape. The greens had been aerated and over-dressed with sand, which left them difficult. Understanding this is a necessary process,I look forward to playing again this season. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Frank
Nice course. There was a frost warning until 9:30. So the first 5 tee times became a shotgun start. Everything went smooth from them on. The course is always nice and so is the staff.
I’ll be back.
Enjoyable
Very nice experience. The best part is reading the the history of the holes before you tee off. If you think the pros aren’t good try playing from the tips and break 100!
used to be good
The concept was interesting and some of the holes were great, but the poor condition the tee boxes, bunkers and some of the green ,i was happy to payed for winter price. The amenities were inexistent ,we have to pay and get our own practice ball ,no drink or food where available and you cannot go to the club house after 9 holes .Now the bathroom facility were the worst i have ever seen even in the worst public course ,they should be shut done and i already report them to the county!it is a public health hazard.
I would not recommend this golf course ,maybe in the worst case scenario in the winter for 41$
Great spring day in the winter
The course was a little soggy, but that’s to be expected given the recent rain and snow. Overall the course was in better than decent shape and the greens were in particularly good shape. It was an outstanding golf outing for February In Maryland.
Great Course Too Wet
Fantastic Golf Course Great Layout Conditions where Too Wet, Should Have Been CLosed Because of Wetness Lost bout Four Balls in The Middle Because they just disappeared into the mud Conditions little too Wet
Renditions 2/1/2018
My friends and paid the $35 winter rate. Oh, the Socialist Republic of PG County added an extra $3.50 tax to that!
The layout of the course was nice - replica holes from famous courses worldwide, but the grass was what one would expect for winter - brown and dormant. The grass on the greens was very uneven from hole to hole, and sometimes quite ragged . This would be a much better course to play from April through October. The staff was nice, but the driving range mats were very worn. They definitely need to be replaced.
I would like to play this course again during the regular season, but would not play it again during the winter.
Who needs Hilton Head
I had so much fun playing here. The staff was friendly, attentive and professional. I can’t wait to bring people here. It was a little wet, but for January, it was in great shape. Good range as well. I’ll be back!
Good shape fun to play course. Still frozen
The course was in good shape. The ground was frozen solid so it was cart path only. Still had a great time for January golf in DMV. Getting the rust off.
Good in its own right
I do not get too carried away by representation of “famous” holes—at least not after several visits—because the layout and the variety of hole styles and challenges would make this a terrific experience even were it wholly unique. Certainly, no course would have this much variety from a single architect’s design vision. It’s proximity to the Patuxent watershed contributes a few negatives, like humidity, some drainage issues in wet weather, and, perhaps certain grass diseases, but the greenskeeper maintains enjoyable playability as well as other top public access courses in the neighborhood. But I would recommend it among several an out-of-towner might fit into a week or so in the DC area.
