Very nice and challenging course
Played the course on a very windy day (30+ mph) for the first time. It was very challenging but the course was in very nice condition considering we are in the winter months. The speed of the greens was perfect and they rolled true. I really enjoyed the challenge of dealing with the wind, especially on the holes near the small lake on the course. I highly recommend if you are in the KC area.

Great Course. High Prices!
This has always been one of my favorite courses in the KC area. In fact, it’s the course I learned to golf on! Used to play it all the time, but their rates have skyrocketed in the 2021 season. If you can lock down a reasonable hot deal, I’d recommend this course to anyone of any skill level.

Nice course but slow play.
We played on a Monday afternoon. The course itself was in good shape but play was slow. We waited to tee off on every hole as well as on many of our fairway shots. Perhaps they could spread out the tee times a bit to speed up play. Also - no water on the course and no opportunities to stop by the club house to get water due to the course layout. Most of the ball washers were gone. We wanted to stop by the clubhouse for a drink after our round and no one was working the bar. Someone finally came as we were getting ready to leave. Overall, the course itself was nice and would be fun to play if there was less stopping.

Worth Playing
I thought the course had some nice water challenges. Fairway was in very good shape. Just aerated so the greens were a bit unpredictable. Definitely worth playing. Only item I would add is to add some places along the course for some drinking water.

Let us know about the greens
Should have it posted that the greens were just aerated. To find out when your paying top end for a metro course was frustrating. Course was probably in the worst shape I’ve seen it in 2 years. Play here at least once a month.

Course shape has drastically improved!
Finally, the course is getting better instead of worse. New drains installed are helping with keeping the fairways nice. Greens and tee boxes are great again.
Not worth $70, but the course is getting closer to what it used to be.

Great condition
8am tee time and the pace was great.
Most importantly, the fairway was in great condition.

There wasn’t a starter so there were a bunch of random groups bunched together, greens were full of pitch marks, bunkers were crusty with no rakes, fairways were fine. There weren’t any small bags of range balls so I had to buy the large if I wanted any. It’s a nice course usually but for the price you can find better value at shoal creek, ironhorse or winterstone.

This course is still a good, solid test of golf.
Have not played here for a year or so and was impressed with the condition of the tee-boxes , fairways and greens. Jeremy was very helpful in getting us checked in and on our way. The beverage cart girl was friendly and came around often which was welcome on a hot August day. This course is well worth the money to play.
