Course looks great.
As always, top notch fairways, bunkers, and greens. This course has the best carts that feature an interactive touch screen. GPS that tracks everything around you, most importantly...other players ahead of you.
The pace is normally slower than all other courses, so arrive with the mind set that 18 holes could take 5hrs +.
Best Public Course in KC
I play all over KC and this is the most challenging there is. Long par 4s, elevated greens and many hazards to deal with as you will see on hole #1. Not just cow pastures like any other courses in the area. Although the condition deteriorated as the season went on. More emphasis to players to keep conditions good ( ie replace divots) may be needed this year.
Tiffany Greens
The course is extremely deceiving, it looked shorter than it played. The course was wet and the carts were only allowed in the rough, which required a lot of walking. The greens were very fast and the course was full, a lot of waiting; but, we still got finished in four hours. I would recommend playing on a dry day the course is truely outstanding.
One of the best in Kansas City
We were warmly greeted in the pro shop and by the starter upon arrival. They keep the pace of the start on time and the pace of play was perfect. The course was in very good condition and the greens recovered nicely after aeration. If you're looking for a nice course top play in K.C., you don't have to look much further.
Great Course in the Northland
I have played TG a lot in the past 3 years and it's always pretty consistent. Great course conditions, friendly staff and great value. The only complaint I have is the bunkers could be a little better. Other than that, fairways, rough and greens are always in great shape and it's one of the best conditioned courses in the KC metro year in and year out. Definitely worth the play!
Great Except For the Greens
Greens were recently aerated and still had quite a bit of sand on them. (The greens are normally one of the highlights of the course.) Fairways are about as good as zoysia can get. One of my favorite courses in the Northland.
Awesome Course!
First time I played this course. We had a party of 4 and we were not rushed at all. Everyone was real nice and layed back and the course was in GREAT shape. It rained the morning of and was sprinkling when we started but the course played real nice and it was a great day! Carts were nice, GPS in the carts and screens in the carts were awesome!
Different Course
Tiffany Greens is a pretty good layout, but I don't find it very attractive to play. Some of the holes are strange in their layout, espcially 1, 12, 18. Also, very difficult for the average player with all the hazards present. It's also brutal on a hot , sunny day because there is no shade. Great range, overall good condition though. Bunkers have very little sand in them...
Great value!
The staff was friendly, we got a great deal on golfnow.com, the weather was beautiful and the course was in great condition. What more could you ask for!
Great course!
Really enjoyed Tiffany Greens! Challenging course layout with lots of greens surrounded by water which was a lot of fun! Great condition and friendly staff! Certainly wil be back when I am in the KC area!
Great course but pace of play is a gamble
Tiffany is a great golf course. The layout, staff, tees, & fairways are always fantastic. The greens are bit beat up this year and can affect the roll of your putts. The sand traps are not in good shape either, some are okay but there are several wet ones bordering on unplayable and even more that are crusty as concrete. Pace of play is my biggest criticism. It's like Russian Roulette, you'll have some rounds you can play in 3.5 hrs but others that will take minimum of 4.5. Especially when they let 5 somes play. Often slow foursomes won't even let twosomes play through. My last round I waited to hit on every single shot from hole 4 to 18.
Very Nice Round
Course was in great shape and the weather was great. Tiffany Springs is an excellent course and was in great shape. A very fair course (choose your tees wisely) but it has holes that can generate big numbers if you are not accurate. Play smart and realize a bogey is not a bad score on this course.
Forgot how good this course is!
I have played here several times but it was the first time for me this year. I've always considered this course a top 5 in KC area but forgot just good of a course it truly is. Great layout, has water hazards all over the course. The greens roll pretty quick, which I like but today they had a lot of sand on them on many holes. I was a bit disappointed by that fact but this was the first time that it's been like that since I've been playing here. Tiffany is usually in great condition, that's part of the reason I like playing here. The roughs seemed to have been cut recently, I had no problem getting out of them. I love playing this course, I need to play it more often!! One note, this course tends to hold a fair of amount of water, so don't go after a rainy day.
Well trapped course
Extremely well trapped. It seems like the traps are place, no matter which tee that you use, to come into play from the tees. Due to lack of play & practice, I dared not try to carry the traps. This left some longer approach shots. The greens are not as difficult to putt as I had anticipated. If players would repair their ball marks, the greens would be very nice. I don't think you will be disappointed by playing the course.
Very nice course
Everything about Tiffany Springs CC is nice except for the rough areas on the course. As a amateur/beginner, hitting balls slightly off the fairway and your ball is lost. That is my only complaint.
Ajw
I really enjoy the layout and condition of the course. I highly recommend Tiffany Greens. The only negative is the 9th hole does not bring you back to the clubhouse.
Nice course
Course was nice with a problem, rained night before and all the bunkers were FULL of WATER {lost 3 balls that went into bunkers). By the time I finished the round they were just getting a pump and started to pump the bunkers out. and I started at 9 o`clock they should have started before noon to fix the water problem. Took the fun out of it.
Was well manicured
There was a fivesome that slowed down play some. Also some players sipped some holes and as we pulled up to a hole even though they started behind us were at the next hole waiting to tee off ! Neither of these things should have happened on a course of this caliber.
