Great course!
Really enjoyed Tiffany Greens! Challenging course layout with lots of greens surrounded by water which was a lot of fun! Great condition and friendly staff! Certainly wil be back when I am in the KC area!
Great course but pace of play is a gamble
Tiffany is a great golf course. The layout, staff, tees, & fairways are always fantastic. The greens are bit beat up this year and can affect the roll of your putts. The sand traps are not in good shape either, some are okay but there are several wet ones bordering on unplayable and even more that are crusty as concrete. Pace of play is my biggest criticism. It's like Russian Roulette, you'll have some rounds you can play in 3.5 hrs but others that will take minimum of 4.5. Especially when they let 5 somes play. Often slow foursomes won't even let twosomes play through. My last round I waited to hit on every single shot from hole 4 to 18.
Very Nice Round
Course was in great shape and the weather was great. Tiffany Springs is an excellent course and was in great shape. A very fair course (choose your tees wisely) but it has holes that can generate big numbers if you are not accurate. Play smart and realize a bogey is not a bad score on this course.
Forgot how good this course is!
I have played here several times but it was the first time for me this year. I've always considered this course a top 5 in KC area but forgot just good of a course it truly is. Great layout, has water hazards all over the course. The greens roll pretty quick, which I like but today they had a lot of sand on them on many holes. I was a bit disappointed by that fact but this was the first time that it's been like that since I've been playing here. Tiffany is usually in great condition, that's part of the reason I like playing here. The roughs seemed to have been cut recently, I had no problem getting out of them. I love playing this course, I need to play it more often!! One note, this course tends to hold a fair of amount of water, so don't go after a rainy day.
Well trapped course
Extremely well trapped. It seems like the traps are place, no matter which tee that you use, to come into play from the tees. Due to lack of play & practice, I dared not try to carry the traps. This left some longer approach shots. The greens are not as difficult to putt as I had anticipated. If players would repair their ball marks, the greens would be very nice. I don't think you will be disappointed by playing the course.
Very nice course
Everything about Tiffany Springs CC is nice except for the rough areas on the course. As a amateur/beginner, hitting balls slightly off the fairway and your ball is lost. That is my only complaint.
Ajw
I really enjoy the layout and condition of the course. I highly recommend Tiffany Greens. The only negative is the 9th hole does not bring you back to the clubhouse.
Nice course
Course was nice with a problem, rained night before and all the bunkers were FULL of WATER {lost 3 balls that went into bunkers). By the time I finished the round they were just getting a pump and started to pump the bunkers out. and I started at 9 o`clock they should have started before noon to fix the water problem. Took the fun out of it.
Was well manicured
There was a fivesome that slowed down play some. Also some players sipped some holes and as we pulled up to a hole even though they started behind us were at the next hole waiting to tee off ! Neither of these things should have happened on a course of this caliber.
Jim's Thoughts
Course was in great shape, playing in the fairways was rewarding, playing out of the rough difficult. As it should be. The greens were in great shape, good shots were rewarded. The only knock that I would have deals with the sand, there are higher quality sand compositions that would enhance thehigh quality of the course. Finally, I got a great deal on GolfNow.
Great course & staff!
The people were friendly & the course was in great shape. Lots of variety in this course. We had a great time!
Not what it's cracked up to be...
The playing conditions were absolutely horrible! A bud and myself payed good money to play 18 holes and have a relaxed day to talk about life and catch up, but when they force you to play with other random people you don't even know, it doesn't make for a good day.
Tiffany greens
Course was in great condition buddy n I got paired w a lady and her young son very nice people and the young guy had a great swing. This course has wide fairways so let your driver work, greens were in good shape tho a lot of patrons didn't repair green divots. But you could tell they were new so grounds crew does good work. Beverage cart was abundant and appreciated. My top 2 of favorite courses in Northland. Busy some days and can slow down play, but it's always in good shape.
Course needs some work
Played this course for the past three years and it's always challenging. Although this course is usually in great condition, it looks like it needs some attention. The fairways are thin and weedy and the greens are pretty chewed up. It looks like it's had A LOT of play without the maintenance needed to keep the greens from getting pitted. Had a great round and enjoyed it, just a little disappointed with the greens.
Bad greens
Greens are in pretty rough shape for this early in the year.
Tiffany Greens
This is a tremendous course to play for the $30 online deal after 2pm but I don't think it is worth paying $60, the reg price as the greens were pretty beat up and it took 5 hours. Very challenging and beautifully laid out with rolling hills.
A quality golf experience!
Tiffany Greens is a great golf course. It is challenging but forgiving , so all level of golfers can enjoy it. We played the white tees are the suggestion of the starter. This made the pace of play work out . The course is in good shape for the spring.
Great Layout, Poor Fairways
First time playing out at Tiffany Greens, had only heard wonderful reviews over the years regarding the course. My only issue was the condition of the Fairways. They were horrible! Hard as a rock, weeds and dead spots everywhere, and not green at all. I understand it is early May, but I was shocked they weren't in better shape with all the recent rain as most of the area courses are much more green now. The greens were rolling pretty well, they had been punched fairly recently but they weren't sandy. The layout of the course is a beauty, lots of water in play here and the course is quite challenging even from the White tees.
I will go back to TG, but will wait it out for a while until the fairways can get into better shape.
