Shoal Creek Golf Course

Shoal does a great job taking care of the course compared to other courses in the city.

Fairways missing sod, not worth the $69.. Play Hodge across the street instead, course is in great shape and is 20 dollars cheaper. I’m never going back to Shoal creek

Course is in fair shape, lots of winter kill, but they are laying sod now in fairways. This is a nice course, just needs some additional attention.

Fairways were a little sketchy due to some winter kill, but they are being sodded with zoysia and it should be back to its normal beautiful self in the next few weeks. The greens are perfect so the course is still very playable with a free drop or two from the new sod. So, Shoal Creek is still my favorite course in Kansas City.

My favorite course when I visit KC. The zoysia fairways were in terrible condition. It was being addresses with lots of grounds staff making repairs,, putting large patches of sod in faireays. Still a ways from being in good shape. Many fairways with large dirt patches. Tough winter and lots of rain probably caused it....

The course was in really good shape except that they are resodding some of the fairways. I'm sure it will be even better when they are finished.

They had us tee off on the back 9 to start and there was a wait nearly every hole. The fairways were rough in some spots but still a fun course.

Had a group of 8 guys in town and we seek out courses that are both fun and challenging. I've been wanting to play Shoal for several years based on it's reputation and recognition received. The clubhouse, practice area, and surrounding area is very nice but once we traveled to the first tee we could see there some glaring issues with the course.

I was extremely disappointed in the course condition. It was difficult to find quality grass in the fairways, several large areas where the fairways and green surrounds were very sparse or just plain mud.

The greens were nice and rolled true but the condition of the fairways put a big damper on the enjoyment of the round.

The course condition was not disclosed at the time of payment. The starter prepped us on how the manage the cart traffic but not seeing the condition of the course until the first tee was disappointing.

Took my best friend of 43 years out golfing for his birthday. Weather was perfect. Course was in good shape; especially considering all the rain we'd had. An absolutely beautiful day, although I could have played better!

Greens had just been aerated so fees were reduced. Lots of dead grass in fairways. Bunkers pretty damp and could’ve use some raking.

Staff was super accommodating. Even gave us a discount on clothes and free range balls.

The course was fne. The restrooms were terrble. They were full and stunk pretty bad. They need some attention.

This Course Rocks! Played some Real Dumps South of Lees Summit and Going Here was AWESOME! Since GL Bought a Bunch of Courses in KC They have Let Everything Go to The Point of Extinction for Us! Real Dumps!

The course is in decent condition for the time of year. Always like the challenge of this course and the layout is one of the best around.

This is my course I play regularly I had a couple clients from Joplin MO that for a couple of years I have bragged on shoal creek. Finally they came to KC and I took them today. We had a great time and my clients were impressed. Thanks to all of the staff and grounds people, wonderful day

Shoal Creek has long been my favorite course in Kansas City but with the new zoysia collars and late summer rain, it is in GREAT condition this fall!

They keep the leaves off of the fairways the course was in great shape - great fall golf getaway

I love playing here! Just a great course! It is always in great shape and they have good carts with awesome GPS displays that also feature nice overviews of each hole! The facilities are also top notch with great food.
