Shoal Creek Golf Course

Still a good course but the turf conditions aren't what they once were.

Love this course and basically everything about it. Great back practice area. Only complaint is the GPS working is a little hit and miss on their carts. First world problem I know. On the ones that work, they are super accurate to any pin placement. I think it’s the best public course in KC. Pretty much my go-to course. Once or twice a week evening golfer.

Great golf get away from late and long Minnesota winter. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We will be back again.

For the time of the year the course was in good condition. Another week and warmer weather course will better. Greens are punched. Still need another week or so.

Always great to get a round in in March even if we had to drive 460 miles fo find some course open. Te like Shoal Creek a lot...nice layout, good length for us from the forward tees...the pace was a bit slow because of a slow foursome in front of us...but...not terrible..about 4:45....cart paths and the rough on the cart path side was not too bad...pretty level walks form the rough...very enjoyable round and a terrific twilight rate...we will play any time we are in the KC area

I couldn't have scripted my day off any better! 11am tee time, 62 degrees, a little bit of wind, but imagine my surprise when I checked-in and found out that I could tee off at 9:50am. There wasn't anyone in front of me and I hit the turn at 11:20am and finished up my round a touch after 1pm. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone that can appreciate a great course that is very well maintained.

One of the most enjoyable rounds ever. Course was in top notch condition and the staff treated my new son in law and myself like we were 20 year members. Ryan in the pro shop could not have been more accommodating. A truly 5 star experience!!!

Shoal Creek combines an interesting layout with club house amenities to produce a satisfying experience for all levels of golfers. The course is built within a subdivision but houses rarely come into play and acres of tree lined fairways give one a woodlands feel. Greens usually run medium fast and there are enough traps, some quite challenging (#10 for example), to satisfy masochists of sand. An upscale golfing option in the Kansas City Northland.

The course was still in excellent shape for being late season. We Played A different course in Kansas the day before that is known for playing long and it didn't even come close in comparison to Shoal Creek. Greens were soft and ball tried to stick but a few times rolled a little more than we wanted. Tee boxes and fairways were pretty good. Restocked my bag with several ProV1's I found looking for my ball. Pace was excellent for 12:20 tee time. Twosome in front and we were a twosome. Never had to wait all 18 holes. Love this course and my son and I will be back!!! This is our favorite course in Northlands. We saw several deer walking across course which is always cool to see.

The layout of the course is great. The. Ondition of the fairways was exceptional. The height of the rough was extememly challenging since the ball was disappear and was difficult to get a club on during the swing. The Freeman’s are normally very good but had been ariated recently and were still sandy making putting aloe and unpredictable. I wish the course and GolfNow would find a consistent means of notifying you this condition when ours chasing a round of golf

Greens rolled true and fast. Fairways were in great shape. Bunkers taken care of.

A great course to play. Staff was nice, great fairways, greens, layout. Will definitely come back.

Course was in great condition, and was challenging. No issues with course other than the grille. The girl seemed rather annoyed with her job as a grille attendant.

I ordered a burger on # 9 tee box from the cart (cool option). However, there was no way to customize what I wanted on it. Please add this option to your cart menu. When I went inside on the turn, and mentioned that I ordered a hamburger, she retrieved it from the back. I asked if there was anything on it besides cheese, and she said, "No." I asked if I could please add onions & lettuce. She didn't say anything, just left the burger on the counter and went to the back. A few minutes later she showed up with lettuce and onion in a plastic container.

A little customer service such as, "Would you like anything on that," or, "Sure, I'll be right back," would have been appropriate, rather than silence.
