About
Waikele Country Club sprawls across the gently sloping landscape of Waipio, just west of Waikiki. The golf course overlooks Pearl Harbor with views stretching to Diamond Head. The layout features rolling fairways and undulating greens, which are accented with strategically placed bunkers. Ted Robinson designed the course, incorporating his signature water features throughout. Keeping the ball in play off the tee is integral to scoring well on this layout. The fourth hole is a short par 4 that is known for being one of the course's greatest challenges. It plays downwind, requiring a skillful lay-up off the tee in order to set up the short-iron approach to the two-tiered green that is protected by a pond. On Waikele Country Club's back nine, the 17th is another favorite hole amongst players. Beginning on an elevated tee, the hole plays to a deep, narrow green with water and a small sand bunker to the front.

Golf in Paradise
Nice rolling terrain and very scenic. Greens very tricky. Only bad thing about this course is that the sand traps had very little sand in them and were hard as rock underneath making it almost impossible to get a nice shot out. Fortunately I only had to play out of them twice.
A must play!!
You will have a great time playing here. Fair course, nice restaurant for the 19th hole.
Road Noise golf course
Most fairways are close to very noisy roads.
Parts of fairways were beat up.
Signage was so bad, couldn’t find second hole.
We would highly recommend this course
Very nice layout. Challenging, but fair. The pace of play was very good. This is very attractive course with nice clubhouse amenities. The overall design (Ted Robinson) is very well thought out and we had a very enjoyable experience. We would recommend this course and will play it again on our next trip to Oahu.
Favorite
This is my favourite course in Hawaii 😎 Always in beautiful shape!!
Poor course management.
Put too many players on course. Played 9 holes in 2.45 hours. Spoke to PGA Pro on site about it as we stopped after 9 and he gave me nonsense excuse for such. Asked for a 9 hole refund and he said sorry but no way. Waste of money and time. No one expects to play 18 hours of golf in five and half hours.

Great course
Great layout and pace of play. Greens were sanded but ball still rolled well. Unfortunately no mention of sanded greens during booking.
Great Public Course
We enjoyed playing this course very much. The course is designed so that most shots bounce toward the fairway. Conditions were good for a public course. Back nine was very slow. We had to wait on almost every shot. Sometimes we got to the next tee before next group even teed off. We were only a twosome so that is to be expected at times.

Allow 5somes because of all the local play. Very popular course.
If your in a hurry skip it. But if you have alot of patience play it!!
