About
Waikele Country Club sprawls across the gently sloping landscape of Waipio, just west of Waikiki. The golf course overlooks Pearl Harbor with views stretching to Diamond Head. The layout features rolling fairways and undulating greens, which are accented with strategically placed bunkers. Ted Robinson designed the course, incorporating his signature water features throughout. Keeping the ball in play off the tee is integral to scoring well on this layout. The fourth hole is a short par 4 that is known for being one of the course's greatest challenges. It plays downwind, requiring a skillful lay-up off the tee in order to set up the short-iron approach to the two-tiered green that is protected by a pond. On Waikele Country Club's back nine, the 17th is another favorite hole amongst players. Beginning on an elevated tee, the hole plays to a deep, narrow green with water and a small sand bunker to the front.

good layout, great course to play.
Well maintained throughout the course including greens.
friendly staffs but lacks food services and choice.
Great course
Great layout and pace of play. Greens were sanded but ball still rolled well. Unfortunately no mention of sanded greens during booking.
Great Public Course
We enjoyed playing this course very much. The course is designed so that most shots bounce toward the fairway. Conditions were good for a public course. Back nine was very slow. We had to wait on almost every shot. Sometimes we got to the next tee before next group even teed off. We were only a twosome so that is to be expected at times.

Allow 5somes because of all the local play. Very popular course.
If your in a hurry skip it. But if you have alot of patience play it!!

GREAT EXPERIENCE
Played several course on Oahu while on vacation. Waikele CC was by far the best course we played. Staff was friendly and the fairways and greens were in great shape. Would recommend this course to anyone looking to play golf while visiting Oahu.
Bad policy
We only played 6 holes before intense rain showers shut down playing for almost 2 hours leaving fairways flooded. They would not provide refunds or even rain checks.
What a Deal…or was it?
I played on Thursday morning, and the staff was super nice, very courteous, and the pace of play was great. I’m currently on the course and playing on Friday morning Tina off an hour earlier than I did on Thursday and the starter was a little rude and standoffish. Not to mention the pace of play is at a snails pace. We had four groups on the first hole. I’m now sitting on the second hole waiting again. Unfortunately we have a foursome in front of us and then a twosome in front of us and then us. The foursome behind us is catching up to us and waiting. I think it’s safe to say that there is either a delay or the starter is Russian people out so that they can speed things up which is only slowing things down.
