Enjoyed my round here.

Nice layout, challenging without being penal.

Wind was swirling on quite a few holes which made club selection difficult.

Greens were good speed and smooth.

I'd say course conditions were better than muni, little below high end resort.

Lot's of Nene wandering the course. Great views from a few holes.

Friendly staff. Will possibly play again next visit. Actually liked the layout better than Hapuna at Mauna Kea resort.

We had to pass a couple of 4-somes ahead of us because they were sooooo slowwwwww.

Always nice to see the Nene birds, turkeys, and the wild peccary.

The course offers a variety of challenges for all levels of play. Given the lack of rainfall recently, the course has weathered it well. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Snag one of the “Hot Deals” and you will get a good value for your experience! We return to play the course each year…multiple times when we can. Ask for Jim at the Starter’s desk. If he is around, he will treat you like family!

This course has character ever hole is different and fun. It is the only course during our visit that we played twice. Staff was very friendly and though it was crowded the second time we played they got us out on time. We will be back.

4 golfers on vacation with wives. Staying at The Bay Club Waikoloa. Two of us were repeat players. Two were new to the course. Everyone enjoyed the course and our round here.

The staff was super great, got there early for the 7 am tee time, gates open at 630am.

The staff could not have been any more pleasant, talked and informed us of the sites, volcanos we would see the wild life and what an over all great course. I would recommend it to any level of player. The 17th island green signature hole.

I will definitely be back next year when I’m here again.

As always, it’s refreshing to play at Makani. It’s a difficult course with many unique characteristics. Playing earlier in the day is usually advisable, but we had a 12:10 and no rain. It was a win/win.

I really enjoyed playing Makani yesterday. The starter was very accommodating in getting me out early and got to play by myself, enjoying the layout and scenery! Because of the drought conditions the course played hard and fast, and would be difficult to play the ball down. But the greens were well maintained, just a bit slower than my liking. But if you want to play a fun layout with great views, I’d highly recommend!

Nice course in good condition. Pace of play was good. Excellent staff. If they had food available it would be nice to sit and enjoy the view after playing.

Will definitely come back. Great value and a friendly staff.
