Deer Run at Sun 'n Lake Golf & Country Club

Course was great... a few of the greens had some work being done, but they rolled true and consistent. Overall Sun-n-Lakes is a great value and a good test

This was way better than we expected. Great layout, very fair, and fun to play!

If you haven't played Tuttle Run in couple years, you will notice a dramatic improvement. The green renovation has become well established, making this layout a treat to play..

Staff are always helpful and clubhouse offers a varied menu.

Good greens and fairways. Tee boxes sometimes a little long but in good condition.

Not a first time friendly course. Could not find starter and there was no sign to indicate where 9 transitioned to 10..

This course is well worth the money. We played twilight rate and almost felt guilty based on what we payed and the quality of course. I played this course a few years ago and could tell they have made several improvements. Greens were in good condition. Loved the end of the round on the 18th!

Perfect weather, perfect conditions, and perfect pace of play!! A good place to play in the PM when rate are good.

The quality of the fairways and tee box where good. The greens where perfects. Very nice course.

First time I play here (Deer). A very nice golf course for the price. Staff are friendly. I will come back to play the Turtle.

I can't say enough good things about this course. It's in great shape! The staff is friendly, and helpful. We plan to return over and over again. The 18th hole is awesome. Beautiful landscaping throughout the course. A true gem.

Little disappointing. Thought the course would be in better shape. Greens were very slow.

Unfortunately the greens were punched a couple weeks ago so they were still sandy and bumpy due to holes not healed. Drove an hour from Lakeland, no mention on Golf Now nor a mention from the golf shop as we checked in, had to find out once we drove the mile and half to finally get to Turtle hole 1. Everyone knows the greens make the course, so imagine our disappointment. Cool course layout and would play again once the greens heal but man, let people know ahead of time. Definitely worth the 18 bucks otherwise.

There are several holes where the hazards are not visible from the tee box. Take note of the diagram on the tee marker, and plan your attack. Ice machine on course. I forgot which hole.

This course is a nice little track. Fairways are a little narrower than the other course Deer Run but it is a little shorter so you don't have to hit driver every tee. Could of used a marshall to keep pace of play up.

Greens was lighting quick when I played in November. They wasn't slow, but nothing like last time. Overall a nice course. I will play it again

The course is well maintained, challenging and fun to play. The whole atmosphere at the golf course is professional and friendly. Great course.

This course is worth "hot deals" at $19.00 a round but for many of us retired/non-retired, anything above $30.00 a round is too much and we won't golf at fees above that range. Many courses that are struggling would like to be booked of course-but until the golf industry addresses the cost issue it will continue to be the haves and the have nots. And guess who many feel they cater to.

This course accommodates the low and high handicapper with its many tee choices. Not too much trouble to get into.
