Deer Run at Sun 'n Lake Golf & Country Club

Little disappointing. Thought the course would be in better shape. Greens were very slow.

Unfortunately the greens were punched a couple weeks ago so they were still sandy and bumpy due to holes not healed. Drove an hour from Lakeland, no mention on Golf Now nor a mention from the golf shop as we checked in, had to find out once we drove the mile and half to finally get to Turtle hole 1. Everyone knows the greens make the course, so imagine our disappointment. Cool course layout and would play again once the greens heal but man, let people know ahead of time. Definitely worth the 18 bucks otherwise.

There are several holes where the hazards are not visible from the tee box. Take note of the diagram on the tee marker, and plan your attack. Ice machine on course. I forgot which hole.

This course is a nice little track. Fairways are a little narrower than the other course Deer Run but it is a little shorter so you don't have to hit driver every tee. Could of used a marshall to keep pace of play up.

Greens was lighting quick when I played in November. They wasn't slow, but nothing like last time. Overall a nice course. I will play it again

The course is well maintained, challenging and fun to play. The whole atmosphere at the golf course is professional and friendly. Great course.

This course is worth "hot deals" at $19.00 a round but for many of us retired/non-retired, anything above $30.00 a round is too much and we won't golf at fees above that range. Many courses that are struggling would like to be booked of course-but until the golf industry addresses the cost issue it will continue to be the haves and the have nots. And guess who many feel they cater to.

This course accommodates the low and high handicapper with its many tee choices. Not too much trouble to get into.

This is one of the better courses in the area. Staff treats you like an old friend. On course workers are extremely friendly and courteous. Courses here are always in great shape and greens are very quick.if you haven't played here, or it's sister course Deer Run, you are missing out on an enjoyable experience. I am a winter visitor from Sarnia, Ontario and never pass up a chance to play here. Pat

tis course will differently test your skills in golf. no easy shots

We had a brief frost delay which had some folks cancelling so as we teed off the full 18 holes were like we had the course to ourselves, excellent day. Sylvia is terrific.

Excellent course. Standards are high and it shows. Great staff that went above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Will be making the trip back for sure.

We've played both courses a day. Turtle run is the newer course - a must play!! The only improvement on the DEER-Run Course they should make in early future are the cart-paths - the course is also in a great shape

Deer Run is in excellent shape especially due to the amount of rain we have been experiencing lately,

Greens are fast and smooth.

Fairways are well manicured and maintain a distinct difference between fairway and rough. The rough is not too deep or difficult, but requires the player to think of the shot being played.

Best course in Sebring. Forgiving fairways. Excellent staff

Nice Layout with various elevation changes. Greens were recently plugged and sanded and were bumpy. However when they fill in they are nice with rolls and contours

Fairways and greens were in perfect condition. Liked the towel & tees provided with the cart. Will definitely play here again.
