Good for a round
First time playing this public course. I had heard that it was no good but I figured I'd give it a try. Found a good deal for green fees and a tee time that worked for me. Some tee boxes are rough, most fairways need some attention and some greens have a need for a good bit of weed control. I'd go back but only if I can get the cheap green fees. Carts worked like they should.
Quick Round
Beautiful afternoon round of golf. 1130a tee time. Finished 18 at1250p. Didn’t hurry just nothing holding you up. Was golf at its roots, rough course but a challenge non the less.
Abysmal
Greens finally have some grass. Rest of the course has returned to nature. Unplayable by any normal standard for a golf course; it’s just sand dotted with a few clumps of weeds. Unbearably rough ride even with new carts. Gave up after 5 holes due to condition of course and looming thunderstorms. The worst overall conditions I’ve ever seen on a golf course.
Bad shape
Front nine fairways have very little grass. Tee boxes have little grass, are torn up, and not level. Back nine fairways are better but marginal. Most greens are passable with most having bad spots.
walk away
this place is a cow pasture, you would be better off playimg at a beach. driveway and cart path are full of holes.
Cheap fun
Ok let’s be honest. The course is terrible. Very poorly maintained. That being said it is super cheap. They just bought brand new golf carts. And it’s a lot of fun because you have the place to yourself. I wouldn’t play here every week but I’d come back
Needs much work
Front nine fairways had little grass. Greens were being cored and have been better. Tee boxes need grass as they are currently mostly sand which makes footing difficult.. back nine fairways are significantly better.
president
Dont waste your time let alone the money. My son and I left after 3 holes. No grass anywhere. This was the worst course I have ever been on in 30 years of playing golf. The cart paths are so bad I would rate them dangerous. I cant believe this place is open because it should be shut down. Call the golf police because they are stealing from people for charging any amount to play this cow field.
Terrible!
Literally dried out grass patches that they cut and call a fairway! Bumpy! Completely unenjoyable! The fact that they charge $25-30 to play here is robbery. Wouldn’t play for free.
You get what you pay for
It’s not a great course but it’s not a bad course either. I was pleasantly surprised with the greens but the fairways were rough. All in all the small greens make it a really tough course.
Good for the money
Really close to my house so super convenient. I’m a beginner so I feel this is a good starter course. Good value for the money. Lots of sand and greens could be in better shape. Good carts and friendly staff.
Keith Thomas
It's been a year since I've played here but I can see improvement has been made. Tee Boxes need to be worked on.
The bunkers are great
Good course for high handicap golfers, course is a little ruff ,more play generates more money helps get more up keep. All new carts
Needs work
Course needs some tlc , greens need work fairways need a miracle..
You get what you pay for.
If you are looking for a pristine course with rolling fairways and manicured greens... This is not your course.
However if you are looking for a cheap and not crowded place to play and finish 18 in 3 hours, then this is your course.
Greens are truly rough and there aren’t really any fairways, they just now the weeds a little lower in the middle, and around the pin.
But I played on a Sunday afternoon for $20, so you get what you pay for.
