Swenson is better than other courses that charge more.
What shines about this course are the greens!
They are like velvet carpets; not super fast and
Very forgiving. If you hit a stray shot, you are not
automatically penalized with water, traps, or out
of bounds, but you may have to contend with their
mature trees. Golf is challenging enough without a
lot of added difficulties. Especially if you are practicing
something new that you have learned, this is a good place to try it out. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Carts
May cart was dirty and not charged. It died on hole 15. I’m pretty easy going. That’s not a hard job to keep up on. Disappointed!!

Very nice place to play. Very nice to see all the Fox’s running around the course and good Local IPA. Check in was great very easy and with great customer service really nice guys.

Friendly staff and responsive marshal.
Perfect weather, friendly staff, and good manners of the players made the game very enjoyable. The management has been making some great improvements over the last several months and the results started showing. The rough areas are still tough to play but the fairways made the most improvement and the greens too. Fast greens are the great improvement. Bunkers need some more work though. Tee boxes need some leveling and need to install some yard markers in the fairways.
This course is becoming more and more enjoyable and coming up to be competitive with some well known courses in the area. Keep up the good work!! Thanks.

Swenson Park GC
Had 10:30am tee time. From the start, slow play; 5 hour round. No marshals to encourage faster play. Played men’s tees. Tee boxes, fairways in playable condition. Greens slow, but in good shape. Golf cart battery dead by 18th hole; saw two others. Great golf weather, but slow play ruined the day.

Swenson GC is a Go
Playing 18 was enjoyable and the course was in good shape. The outer rough was too tall so you may lose a ball for that reason. Greens were pretty good considering the about of play.

Great staff, and a great golf course
First time playing this course today. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Especially Rob. Making a teatime was very easy at the pro shop, and the pace of play was very good. My brother and I had a really good time at this course. I do recommend this course! It has very good greens and very wide fairways. It was worth the drive from Tracy.

Greens we’re not rolled which can be expected
But every cup had overgrowth grass over the cup which sucked

Disappointed
The course was not maintained for 10 days due to a frisbee tournament. The rough wasn’t mowed. Lost balls right off the fairway. Greens weren’t mowed and were aerated. Many vendors were taking down their displays. Don’t play the course for at least 3 weeks. Horrible conditions
