It’s just ok….
Staff were nice. Course layout is pretty fun. Fairways were really good. Greens were…bad. Aerated in recent past but were still in rough shape with a ton of pitch marks and really hard spots. If they could figure out how to improve the greens, it would be worth the price but right now, there are several other courses that are a better overall experience for the price.
Friday golf
The course has a great layout and is challenging. It was recently aerated so the discounted price to play was well worth it. Pace of play could be little better but was ok as we were able to finish in less than 4.5 hours.
Cool course. Horrible pace of play.
Great course and was in great condition. Greens are in phenomenal shape and fast. Fairways were freshly cut and the rough was pretty thick. Some of the worst pace of play I’ve experienced in the area. Played at 1030 and ended up with a 5+ hour round. No marshal or starter to help with pace of play. Backup started on the second hole and no attempt for it to be fixed. Wouldn’t play again purely cause of pace of play
Grass is so long
I’m not the best so the rough really messed with me the rough is long and thick so it was taking forever to find my ball but it was fun to try to hit out of, Spanos is a must play.
Really enjoyed the round weather was perfect and course layout and conditions are great
Consistently great
I come here when I want a country climb feel for an affordable price. Spanos has never disappointed me and when I make the trip north to play here, I’m more and more impressed by the quality and value of the course. The staff, carts and practice facilities are all top notch. I’m already looking forward to my next trip, hopefully the fog is gone by then.

Had a great time at Spanos.
I think for the popularity and the amount of full tee times booked I think it would be wise to have an on course Marshall making sure pace of play and ready golf is going on. I don’t think a lot of people there yesterday understand what ready golf is. Plan on a 5 hour round or more on the weekends.
Not a place to golf
If you plan on bringing the kids out on the course with you think again they won’t let you and they won’t refund you either
Pro shop staff was amazing
Really felt welcome, new to golf and he pro shop staff were very welcoming. Course was in good condition, not the greatest but very nice compared to others.
