Elkhorn Golf Club

This course would challange you to keep your shots straight, because tall tree lines guide almost every fairway on the course. Accuracy is needed more than distance here

This course is always a pleasure to play! Staff is friendly and professional. Course conditions relative to the green fees are better than most in the area! Awesome day of golf at Elkhorn!

This is a tradition old school course. Fairways run parallel back and forth with trees lining each side. Greens are small with false fronts on all of them and sand traps on each side to protect them. It’s a good challenge for any level golfer. You need to have a good iron game to score low.

The course has a big prairie dog issue on the holes that boarder outside property. The greens were in good shape. As with most public courses, there ms a good amount of divots on the greens that need fixed.

Driving range is short and doesn’t allow drivers or long woods.

Bar selection and food selection was great. Prices were more than fair.

I wish people would FIX Their Ball Marks. The greens are in good shape but if people would take 30 seconds to repair their ball marks, the greens would be so much better. The course can't be responsible for your pitch marks, that leaves you people. It takes everybody to make it happen.

It was a fun round, good weather. Pace of play was outstanding in that there was no golfers ahead of our group and the group behind was apparently playing the same pace as our group. Course is in good condition, except the greens. Overall green conditions. In terms of maintenance and speed was good, however there must have been a “million” divots that were poorly repaired and many others that were not repaired at all. Presume not repairing divots is common. All of the divots made putting a little tricky with the ball bouncing around …

Great course in the san Joaquin Valley. Always in excellent condition.

I play Elkhorn a several times a year and overall course was in very good shape, only minor gripe was bunker conditions. Majority of bunkers were in need of sand and a few were more like hard clay with minimal sand. With that said, fairways and greens in great shape and I'll definitely play again and recommend this course. Some holes require good golf strategy, but most holes were very forgiving and lend to more scoring opportunities.

There were maybe 40 players on the course and the 4 slowest players were in front of my group. We played the front side in 2 hours and the back side in 2 hours and 45 minutes. I don’t believe this is a common occurrence at this course

Course was very clean and shows the work of course management.

Most of the greens are also well toned to.

When in area will visit course again.

The course is in really good playing condition right now. Fairways are tight with lots of trees greens are rolling good and tee boxes are in good shape
