It was March so it was not lush.
Course is not long but fun and challenging, none the less.

We got rained out on the back nine. The course said that that golf now would give me compensation or nine whole rain check. Called GolfNow talk to them and was put on hold for over 30 minutes while they checked something out. Then received an email that the course would not approve rain check or compensation.Was told golf now receive total payment from me on the golf course received nothing. Not sure why golf now wouldn’t believe I was rained out and compensate me. My family will probably not use GolfNow again.

Save your money
This is the worst golf course I have ever played in my entire life.
- I have never heard the word fore called so many times at a golf course.
- Very dangerous. Greens and tee decks are to close together.
Fairways are awful as well as the green. Weeds growing up through the greens.
- Pace of play is awful. Sometimes 3-4 groups waiting.
- Need to spread out t times to 10 minutes.
- First Par 3 - 3 kids fishing in the pond while you tee’d off and hit the golf ball over their heads.
Save your money and go the the golf range. You’ll get more for your money.

slow play, need a course ranger
Course was much more than the courses I usually play in this area, Indian County to Stewart. Very Slow Play, Short course took 4 Plus Hours, Great course for slow players. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes on each hole

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
The pictures that the course posts are not what you see when you arrive. This is the worst course I have ever been on.. I never heard as many golfers as I did yesterday tell “fore”. Tee decks and greens are too close together. Very dangerous to all golfers. Save your money and go to the golf range instead of here.

First time at Course
Playing the course for the first time, layout was a little confusing.
Fairways were dried out in places.
Overall, good value for money paid.

Beware
Be cautious about booking a tee time at The Shores of North River Gold Club. They do not honor the tee time and do not have a starter during the week to manage the start and group players based on tee time. They allow walk ups to create a free for all at the first tee.. I walked away.

Good value with challenges.
Course layout encourages the use of multiple different clubs. Greens are usually elevated that adds an additional aspect to the game. Greens are in good condition.

Rough around the edges
Course very dry. Greens in decent shape but long and slow. Mixture of beginners and slow players. I thought it would be a good place to practice my short game and take my wife.
I would t go again. Too many better options nearby.

Nice Local course
If you are looking for value for the buck, this is the spot. Good "mom and pop' course with some challenging greens. Well maintained, nice folks.
